Here in Jersey, we get pretty crazy temperature swings throughout the day and the year. It could be 70 during the day and 35 at night in the fall. Also, it will get down to 0 or so in the winter and up to about 105 in the summer. Is it safe to run the same tune for all seasons?

Generally, yes. That is the beauty of utilizing the PCM for tuning. Stand-alone map based systems would likely need different tunes for such varying conditions, but the MAF should account for even sudden temperature changes

It is safe but your AFR's will vary a little bit, that is why its not good to be on the edge. To show you the day I ran my car at the dyno it was hot and my AFR's were at 10.9 the other night it was pretty cool and my AFR's were at 11.2. So temp affects a little bit but it shouldnt be too much.

Buy an AFR gauge so you can be sure of whats happening with the car at all times.

MM said in another one of my posts to start the process again!!!!
just flashed map:

MM YYYYs TT AA vXx_0.ptm
STFT: 1,-0,1 after a drive around my neighborhood

I will check it a couple of days later about a week or so and see if any adjustments need to be made =]]]]

The daytime temp here, right now, is 85°F. The nighttime temp is about 50°F.
I'm at 1000 ft, but I regularly drive from sea level to about 7500 ft (and the temp can drop 30° in the process).
The PCM handles it all.

I am going to mail both sets of instructions to EVERY AccessPORT customer again.
I don't know if that will help, but it can't hurt, I guess.

After learning that the cat costs $4500 here I've decided to run on the untuned maps, better that the car runs rich than I run poor :P Nice to know that if I buy a catless midpipe it won't require a re-tune though.

That's the dealer price, could order one from the US, but the dollar is higher than 3 months ago, so wouldn't exactly be cheapo that either Also, my car isn't under warranty, since it's imported, so well, kinda important not to destroy it :P

A $300 mid-pipe will do wonders and you will still pass emissions.

Check your JunkMail / Spam folder

I just noticed that Jeff's email to my GMAIL account went straight into the junk mail folder.
Check to make sure calibration emails aren't getting sent there and if anyone here uses outlook, add Jeff to Safe Sender list.
Hmmm, makes me wonder if Jeff sent me updated maps and they got deleted because of my spam folder settings.

Yes.
But the $4k CAT will thank him for it.

Indeed I might, but it adds noise, and I have to keep the car original. Rules about US imports. Still hope to go that route, but due to the fact that I might have to take it off if I get "busted" I have to delay it until I can install/uninstall it myself, haven't got my own garage.

The rotary sounds awesome with even sharper sound though, but other people hearing the car may not agree

If you put a hefty resonator on it, it will be much quieter AND it will look like it still has a CAT.

Thanks for the update Jeff. Looking forward to the calibration; the last one was fairly close, so this ought to do it!

It can be one day!
Lately, its been about 90 days! lol
I'm almost all caught up.
The turn-around depends on what you need, how useful your data is and whether or not the communication between us is on-target.

Jeff: can you see if you sent me a custom calibration any time after Sept? I checked my spam folder and didn't find anything but that's not to say I didn't delete it out of that folder.
