Here is something strange. When using the AP to datalog, the AFRs that come out on excel are very different from the ones I am seeing on the AP while driving. Any ideas why?

you're only seeing SOME of the figures when you're watching the AP. (I assume you're looking at the the road from time to time)
Those numbers are being cranked out of the OBD II at a pretty rapid pace, you're bound to miss some of them (quick spikes up or down)
Unless of course your figures are completely off from what you're seeing on the screen. If that's the case, then I don't know what to tell ya.

Question, On startup only cold starts i'm seeing 15 afr then it just climbs up to 20.3 and i'm just sitting idle, maybe 30 sec and it makes a noise and the afr goes to 13's then is stable after that. i can sometimes tap the gas to make it go to 14's or so but ya anyone else experience this? i'm thinking it just goes lean for a few to burn all the oil that the OMP is pumping out. any imput would be great. and ya car runs great.

The Michigan "WANKEL"
I saw in another thread here that support for the 2009 RX-8 is coming soon. I'm assuming that will work with the R3, right? I'm hoping to buy an R3 middle of next year, and I very much want to get an AccessPORT for it.
