I don't have any codes thrown so I haven't had any experience turning them off. Do I do that from AP manager or when I get a code I can turn it off right from the AP? Or do I need AccessTuner? I'm expecting to have one once my BHR midpipe shows up. Thnks

Ok i have a question. When I go to click on the AP updater link on the first page it doesn't bring up the version that it says it recquires. It brings up version 1.2.5. Does this version work or what do I need to do? Sorry for the noob question

Download whatever it gives you (v1.2.2.2 for the manager and v1.2.5.0-13288 for the updater).
Install.
Enjoy.
Those numbers change often - sometimes daily. I can't keep up with them.
It is, as it is with ALL things software related, the newest version that you need to be compatible and that is indicated by the biggest revision numbers.

I received the Cobb today and plan on loading the base MM calibration tomorrow. i just have a question about the instructions and the youtube video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFC1l6lS2bw here it says that after your first short drive you adjust the short term fuel trims but its not mentioned in the instructions sent by MM so do i change the fuel trim if its anything but zero or not?

If you have MMCCS then your tune will already ignore the Cat efficiency fault code... I'm not sure which other ones.
Anything you want to customize requires the tuning SW but you can't edit Jeff's tunes cus they're locked.

^ I'm just running the base map, and midpipe will go on before I start MMCCS, does base map still ignore it?. It says reset ECU on the AP, won't that clear the code and then it will appear again as soon as the ecu realizes there is still a problem if the code is not an ignored one?

I think base tune ignores the same codes as the final tune but I'm not sure... Jeff?
Yes, the reset clears the codes and yes they will return if not ignored by the tune.

So today on the way home from work with my new AP, a vertical red line 1 pixel wide showed up on the right side of the screen, maybe 20% of the screen's width from the side.
It stayed there they whole way home, even unplugging the AP while at a light and plugging it back in, it was still there. Like a "dead pixel", only a line of just permanent red pixels. I got home, pulled out my camera to take a picture of it, and it simply wasn't there.
I'm assuming that this might be an issue to take up with COBB if it comes back, being apparently hardware based.
Just checking to see if any other AP owners have seen this.

Okay nice, not sure if I'll ever need it then but just in case I want to ignore any other codes I got cobb to send me the download for AccessTuner, I'll have to play around with it though.

the car has been getting rich codes since i got the build done , as per diagnostics with mazda equipment. the car is running catless and it smells like a skidoo, there is so much fuel runnin through the car its insane.i had a cat but it cloged since the build so i punched it out . my mechanic said that it was +18 on long term fuel trims , meaning rich i dont know if he realized if it was negative or minus but irregardless it is 18 units too rich right now.

Posting this cause I just came to the conclusion, and it seems in line with what your issue might be as well:
So after a day of driving with the AP, I think I can confirm that my O2 sensor is jacked the eph up.
With a warm engine, under full WOT, my AFR is pegged at 11.2. Pegged so steadily that I believe it to be the minimum value it can report, and I am actually running WAY richer than that.
With a warm engine, under light throttle or idle, I flicker around 14.5 to 15.1
With a cold engine, my idle starts at ~14, and increases quickly to 18-19 range, flickering to the top peg of 20.3 occasionally.
This morning I had my 8 bog down heavily like has been happening, like it was trying to flood out, and my AFRs were generally staying 18+, though flickering down to 11.2 frequently before flickering back up.
So I figure bogging like crazy is because the O2 sensor is reading really really lean, so it's shoveling fuel into the engine trying to get it to richen up, and it's bogging my engine because it doesn't actually need it, because it isn't actually running that lean.
I'll check my fuel trims on the way home from work today.

Its a new 02 sensor about 1200 km ago , my mechanic was sayin that the trims were between +11 and + 18 , but that was on the first drive cycle. thinkin they might come down after another drive cycle . but the car is mechanically sound right now, good o2, no vac/boost leaks, fuel pump is good , no cat to clog etc....

Half of my screen was frozen, so yeah I know what you mean... I drove home and it didnt do it, so I think we have had the same problem...
