Any idea how to get that lost hp back?

I am making less power with the AccessPort compared to the Interceptor-x that's for sure.

The factory Dwell settings are fine for N/A applications, hence the improvement in power. The turbo cars will simply adjust the value in the table to 3-3.5ms depending on the power level, this will take less than 5 minutes.

btw, when I found out I had issues, I emailed Scott who immediately started investigating. A few dozen emails and 2 days later, he had a workable solution with the AccessPort. So Scott is definitely committed to making sure his ignition solution is functional.

I don't think NA users will notice anything. It isn't till around the 220-240 whp area that my dyno run showed less power than my previous runs.

I read somewhere in a description of the Cobb that you can change the temp at which the radiator fans come on, is that some thing we can change in the Cobb's menu's or does that have to be modified in the tuning software? Or was that for a different cars Cobb?

it's done in the tuned maps, jeff has already done this for us, though I'd like to see them on a bit more since I now sit in the 200-205 range.

Do you have a stock radiator, water pump, or fans? I'm just curious because I'm still thinking up my future turbo setup. I was thinking of getting the BHR Radiator at the end of this month.

stock cooling system. I'd love to replace the radiator and especially the fans. I think the fans cause idle issues.

I want to make sure I'm following this correctly... Its the coils in FI use that are causing the loss of power right(because of the dwell needing adjustment)?

I've been following the thread daily but I just read a page back and saw where this was explained by MM. I some how missed that one.

I see the Mazsport coils will need dwell adjusting done with all ems systems when running FI.

I floored it for a second or two while datalogging.

Since we have the datalog that contains the mph and speed the vehicle is traveling, anyone want to see if they can estimate out my 0-60 time, or any other info?

This log was after several runs going over 100 mph as I weaved between slow traffic.

Wow! I checked my MPG and it 99!

Then I looked up and realized I was off the gas and on a slight decline.

Mu ha ha ... just kidding.

Anyone drive their car enough to tell us the MPG?

I can get 25 to 28.5 MPG cruzing. I'd like to check it on a long run.

I get 23.5 on the drive to work, which is very hilly w/ a lot of steep climbs. I would imagine25-28 is easily attainable on the highway.

What is your speed during that drive?

If he solved the problem, why are you selling your Mazsport ignition solution?

We really need to solve this problem. I refuse to go back to OEM coils to get the lost HP back.

I installed the Mazsport ignition upgrade before the AccessPort. I had to wait for the Mazsport CAI to get the AP working properly and now that everything is working, it does not feel nearly as powerful as when I had the Intercpetor-X.

i did exactly same thing you did, but no CAI. i feel the same as you, but the car does run smoother and idle better, thatz all it matters.
and now after i install the cobb ap, i experience "marble in the can" now!
sigh...

Between +6 and -6? And you are on "v1.0"??
Someone didn't follow directions.

As was noted elsewhere in th thread, the "problem" has been solved.

What you mean is you needed to gt the MazSport CAI to get your car to work properly.
The AP was working properly, but you had an improper intake for your MAF.

Have you actually timed or dyno'ed it?
