jeff! i look forward to hopefully seeing you at the next dyno day you have in socal, ill never give up trying to tune my 8 lol.
me and greg switched out my maf sensor for a new one and now my car runs rich (pegs at 11.2 in boost, only bogs in lower rpms under heavy load) so perhaps now it will only be a case of removing fuel?
either way, just wanted to let you know please keep in touch whenever you come over to socal =]

Jeff after I read your instructions for instructions I couldn't believe some of the things
you have to deal with! I give you lots of credit!! I don't think i'd have near enough patience
to do what you do. I hope you hang in there as your tuning service is invaluable to the
RX-8 community.

Man I wish I had another car to drive to work sometimes...
Trying to flash, and drive carefully for two drive cycles is making me nuts. I keep having to drive the 8 on the highway to work.
This weekend should help - I take it the two cycles of careful driving is to keep the car in closed loop oxygen feedback. Should have logs for idle and cruise for the street port soon. Can't wait to mash the pedal to the floor for open loop tuning.

Two things:
1) "Drive carefully" does not mean "avoid driving normally". It just means keep your ears and eyes open.
After watching more than one customer load a new calibration on a boosted car and then proceed to jack the **** out of it right through stuttering and detonation with wild abandon, I felt it necessary to include "carefully" in the instructions. Just like I feel I have to add "inhale normally" after every 6 or 8 lines of instructions, lest the customer asphyxiate.
2) Submitting a "where is my calibration" e-mail = phail. For the most part (unless Flashwing is feeling particularly charitable that day), these requests are circular-filed immediately. We simply do not have the time or patience to answer every "Its been 11 days!!!! Where is my calibration?!?!" e-mail. Especially, since most of them are actually "Its been 7 hours!!!! Where is my calibration?!?!?" queries.

WTF Jeff, where's my gawd damn calibration!
I saw you in Vegas two weeks ago, mentioned NOTHING about wanting another calibration on my already finely tuned RX-8 but you should KNOW that I want another tune to make my car betterer.
wtf!
should I resend my request via telepathy again?

that's bullshit 05rx8mazda! You should ask for a refund on your tuning fees! You obviously didn't get your money's worth for those 6 months of calibrations!
