Do you mean to say you have had a mechanic fix your vacuum leak since you had your first calibration and you'd like to know how to tell if it's fixed before you send in your next datalog?

I explain what I need
When I sent my datalog to MazdaManizac for my first calibration, they told me I had my RX-8 vacuum leak, you fix that problem.
I took the RX-8 to the shop to fix the problem.
Then I sent the datalog to MazdaManiac for the second calibration, I returned to indicate that there was still a vacuum leak.
Again I took the Rx-8 to the shop and I suggest that the problem is solved, but I do not trust, I call for help in that regard, I need to know if there is still a vacuum leak, for which I want to use as a tool check the AccessPort. (values or parameters that I should see or compare?)
I should point out that if MazdaManiac realized in reading my datalog I sent, so I think that using my AP, I can see the vacuum leak.
I hope you understand me
Thanks for the help.
Audie

His datalog is showing a MASSIVE amount of fuel trim (+25% LTFT AND +25% STFT) and adjusting the MAF calibration for that still left him with +15% net trim.
He has an NA RX-8 with a stock intake, but with W/M and nitrous.
The other possibility is that his fuel pressure is impaired, either because of the nitrous install or the pump.
I can't diagnose hardware issues too accurately from such a distance, but this is obviously a problem in the equipment.

Question;

my BHR ignition kit will be arriving early next week, should i wait and install it first before doing the data logging?

Though it doesn't really matter (I can add the BHR ignition info to the tune at any time), it is easier for my accounting, so to speak, if you wait.

It is up to you.

I think i will proceed with the data logging, and indicate on the number 10 question about the BHR ignition upgrade. Then shoot you an email once upgrade has been made.

Thanks

Hey Jeff,

How's the current tuning backlog? Last update was about 10 days? Still tracking about the same?

Hey MM, quick question.

I am getting a **** load of work done to my motor at pineapple racing right now, i bought the tunner about a lil over a month ago. I am in afganistan for the next 2/3 months till im home and i still have to renstall everything back in the car. I know i have a 6 month period to have you tune.

The Question; does that time start from when you sent the tunner or is it from when i send you the first read out of the car????

Just shoot me an e-mail at the "ap" address saying you want to defer to a later date.

The last submission of my datalog was the August 13, 2010, spent more than 11 business days.
Please indicate when you send me the 2nd. custom calibration.
I am waiting
Thanks,

Where do you think the 11 days for custom calibrations comes from

It says that the AP purchase would be shipped in 11 days MAX from date of purchase...and up till the last BO stuff...that has been the case...

Hey MM, I've demodded my car to prep it for sale/trade in. Looks like I wont be needing your service after all. I've emailed you letting you know as well. Hopefully this will save you wasting time putting together a base calibration for me

Thanks anyway
