I've gotten 2 of my 5 additional calibrations, over a 6 month period because of waiting. I paid for a 48 hour turnover. .. $300 is a lot of money to throw away. Because right now I'm waiting for a tune on a car that's undrivable. let me again quote his page..

"You will receive a confirmation within 24 hours of your submission.
Provided you have followed the directions correctly, you will receive an adjusted calibration within 48 hours (business days, Monday through Friday) after receiving your confirmation e-mail."

Fortunately this is clear enough for legal action. I would like a partial refund of my money.
I really don't want to go through legal channels. This is ridiculous, I would have NEVER signed up for such an unreliable response time, after reading his page.
wow it's reaching international levels too.
hope you get this sorted out Jeff.

I feel your pain. I'm leaving in two weeks to a military deployment and I have the feeling that my AP will not be shipped in time. Nobody is going to be here to get the shipment, so its looking like it could be $730 down the drain!

Kane you have a good idea but let me burst your bubble a bit here. I am VERY hands-on with my car since most of everything that is installed was installed by me and a friend who is a mechanic. But still I am very scared of tuning by myself since its something I have never done and I do not want to risk my engine by doing something stupid. That is why I bought the AP and did this. Hell I went FI just because I read how well it would work with Jeff's tuning and the AP. And believe me when its working it works fine, I am in no way saying his tuning does not work. But yeah it would be hard for me to create a tune from nowhere and make it work. If I could have a base map to go on and then tune with help or something then it would be easier and still I would be reluctant.

I am VERY close to taking the turbo kit out and selling it and going back to N/A. I am paying for a car that I am NOT enjoying right now.

I do not blame Jeff for my misfortune since I was the one with the decision of turboing my car knowing very well that it would be a project and knowing that it is my dalily driver and it could be affected. I just did not think it would affect it this much.

I guess I will wait a little more and if nothing happens with the tuning then I have a decision to make.

THANK
YOU

Thats cool, and thats all I wanted to know.

When you do get to the email I responded to, way back when, I do hope everything is clear as I my time for your custom cal service is winding down(2 mos) and @ this rate I still will not have a proper tune before it expires.

Don't worry about the expiration.
Its just that, if you have an unresolved mechanical issue and then you send me a different set of logs and then you try to explain what changed and then you send the same logs again and then you ask what is going on and then you multiply that by 20 or 30 customers in a sea of hundreds...

Oh ok, That was the main thing I was worried about,(expiration). Will sit back relax and wait patiently as others have done, do & continue to do.

Thanks & Goodnight.

I'd tell you to google search but that would seem just silly since you used google to purchase. So here's the link : http://checkout.google.com/support/b...n&answer=98900

2-4 weeks seems to be typical. The service lists a 48 hour workday turnaround, but that does not account for out of town trips, personal leave, and workload. Plan on waiting at least a month and don't start worrying about your tune until then. If it hasn't shown up in a month there may be additional delays.

3 weeks to a month. If you followed the directions in the first post of this thread and or the email from Mazdamaniac.

Based on my experience.

Question!

I already purshased my AP, after reading more into the installation process I notice that the initial thread mentions the nonstandard MAF pipe. I have a Mishimoto carbon fiber intake with the provided MAF pipe. Is this consider a standard pipe? Is there anything else as far as information that I need to provide for my maps? Thanks in advance to whoever wants to help!

That'll be fine.

Just follow the instructions in the first post EXACTLY.
