Hund, would it be easier if I just resent my logs from march 9th? I really don't want to wait another 2-3 weeks in queue again though.

PLease send them again, along with the calibration file. Understand though, that MM is traveling for work this week so there is likely going to be a bit of a delay in getting the tune to you,

Hund,

I know MM is out of town, but I'd like to see the status of my latest map. It was sent and received on Mar 23rd.

Thanks

If your logs were sent prior to Saturday I don't have any info on them, I will have to check with MM on a case by case basis. I will try to get in touch with him in the next day or two and check for you.

Please understand that my role is mostly a secretary (sexretary) and that I am not doing any tuning. My job is mostly to stay in touch with the customers and make sure the required log and calibration files are present in the emails. MM is still doing all of the tuning. I am just alleviating the burden of correspondence from him so he can focus on the "smart kid" work.

Also, I do not have access to all the history on all the customers yet. MM has run as a one man show for quite awhile and it will take time work out the best way have two people work together on this.

Thanks for your patience on this.

Sean

Hund,

Is there any way you can check on my flash that was sent on 27 Mar..I've been really patient, but this is getting ridiculous. Ive seen many email flash services, and all of them don't make their customers wait like, 3 weeks between tunes. Please respond, because all the emails that Im sending are probably just getting ignored, just like everybody elses emails.

Based on the email traffic I see between you and Jeff, he responded to you on the 27th....does not seem that you are being ignored. You do know he was traveling all last week and again this week right?

I don't know about other "email flash services" or their wait time but know that Jeff is the only one doing tunes here so it is still a one man show in that regard. He also tries to have a life outside of just doing tunes and has other work commitments. He is not a robot just churning them out.

Please let me know how you feel we can serve you better.

Kind regards,
Sean

Sean,

I understand that life after work, concept, as I am a active duty service member, however, the gentlemen is running a business, and as one of the many customers, I am just checking on the status of the product that I paid for. If the demand is to much, then maybe this isn't the line of work for him. It would just be real nice if I recieved some type of correspondence that stated a definate time line that reads other than the 48 hour time line. That statement is untrue and is such a gimic and honestly it is bordering false advertising. Please advise of an expected timeline about the tune. Because right now, my lawn mower could beat this thing in the 1/4 mile, and its a push mower.

Best Regards,

Aaron

Aaron, let me try this ONE-MORE-TIME:

Did you get a 'received' email from him?
I ask because if you did not that means your email submission to him was incomplete and the email was set aside (most likely in the recycle bin) I'd hate for you to be wasting your time waiting for somethign he isn't going to send you because there was an issue with the email.

If the email was correct, then I'm sure you'll get something from him soon. I think MM posted recently that he was running about 3 weeks behind on the average customer.
I know this can be a frustrating process, believe me...I know. In the end it will be worth it though, trust me on that.

I have edited the email traffic below to omit some of your personal data but otherwise it is intact. Seems to me that Jeff responded to you quickly on the email but just has not had time to complete the tune. Do I understand correctly from the email that you are on version 4.0 of your tune? Meaning that he has already sent you maps previously? Please understand, I do not have history on a lot of this as I am just coming on board.

Email traffic that I have:

I am currently still on v4.0.1 and awaiting my next flash. I submitted data for the next flash on 27 March. Can you please tell me the status..

Probably not. Its typically done around v4.0.4, depending on how your particular car responds to changes.

Yes they were made with the attached calibration. Is this the final calibration?

So, the attached logs were made with the attached calibration?

If so, we are good to go.

Thanks!

Jeff,

We must have had a mix up in email, because I check all my records and I could not find the email from the 18th. Thanks for your quick response now that we have made good contact. Let me know when you think the car is fully tuned for the current mods.

Pardon me mrs. Hund but you might want to go back and edit out the direct links to all email addresses in the future. People can grab a link and start flooding the account with spam or something like that.

really, either wait in line for 3-4 weeks like everyone else or pay another company to get a tune or tune it yourself. This is a service you did not pay for. If you are not happy with a free service, then go outside of Jeff and pay for a tuning service ($300-400).

end of story

At no point was jeffs service free- end of story. He advertised a product with services and gave a price for his package/product. If I would have known it would be nearly impossible to get the AP tuned by another source then I would never have bought the AP. If tuning was an available option outside of jeff then I would gladly have paid 400± to get my vehicle tuned properly in less than a week. For me though it is too late to go back and change things as I purchased mine over a year ago and still I'm waiting in lines for a final tune. I'm also afraid my worst fears are yet to come to life as I will be adding a FI system in 2 mths. It's sad that I'm both excited and scared to death that I will be left w/o a drive able car for 3-4 mths simply because of a tuning issue. Don't get me wrong jeff has absolutely done a ton of good for the community and I'm sure he's a good guy just a bit swamped. But jeff has also done a good bit of harm to people as well and the fact that he keeps advertising a service that is hardly within the advertised realm of reality (48 hour tunes) while continuing to expand and sell his services(european AP) is shear madness and more than annoying. Don't whine to me about your life outside tuning then turn around and add even more of a workload for yourself while others sit and wait ridiculous amounts of time.

That be said jeff I love you man and will still be paying the 300 for your service to get my car tuned for FI. Your like my crack rock man and I need another smoke. What's wrong with me?

Fyi I typed this on my blackberry and will fix the grammatical errors if this is hard to read when I get home
