The fuel and ignition on those calibrations are exceedingly cautious. Really, to the point of barely making the car run in most scenarios.
Thats pretty crazy that you say the tune is to the point where it barely runs cause (and Im sure its an exaggeration on your part) but my car seems to run really good on that tune. Obviously I have never gone WOT yet and only been to 5k rpm, but the car runs very smooth, with some exceptions every now and then, and the car doesnt even pop when the BOV goes off (VTA). Cant wait to see how its gonna run with the final product!

It'll go out in order with others received during the same period. Probably by the end of this week.
Sorry to annoy you, but could you give me a status on the tunes? Im just wondering because this weekend would be a good time for me to set up my car.

Thanks

Thanks Jedi.

btw: The MM AP indicates that although bought new locally, I actually have a destined-for-Cali car. No wonder it runs strong and so much more trouble free than nycgps' Shinka.

California RX-8's are better. There's no denying it, it's a proven fact. Undisputable evidence (which I cannot disclose for confidentiality reasons) proves this.

Guys, STOP THE ****!!!!

Jeff is a very good guy and does some things for the RX8 community that I must say go against everything I was led to believe about him!

If you ********* don't quit bitching all the time, he may say F it and stop doing this incredible service.

I for one have never used his tuning service yet but do want a MMtune when i can get the money right so don't screw it for us .

Jeff, please go get a drink, some tasty food, a BJ if needed to chill out!!!

What kills me are this ghetto-rich people who drop such a HUGE amount of money that they need to know what's going on every second of every day. If buying the AP is such a huge investment for you, might I suggest getting a used Hundai or Le Car? The time line from payment to delivery is well documented, the timeline from actually getting the AP to getting a calibrated map is well documented.

The only variables involved (outside of the random chance) is the douch-nozzles who change their order, ask for special requests, don't follow the retardedly simple step by step instructions given to them, or just come here to whine. It's amazing how little needs to be done to data log, submit, and then patiently wait for service.. .it's more amazing how many people come here after they screwed it up and blame Jeff for that. From what i've seen as a complaint / customer ratio, Jeff is in league with companies that constantly win outstanding customer service awards.

Just curious if the next batch of tunes are going out this weekend.
Only reason I care to ask is because I'm schedule for a dyno this Monday and it'll be cool to have the latest map.

If you don't have the time Jeff... no big deal.
I'm far enough through my tuning that any additional maps are probably just minor tweaks.
So I'm in no rush to receive my maps.

I'm just saying dude. You put the tracking number in on the 9th and it usually would really ship that day but it didn't and it left your house on the 11th -- In turn I'm not getting the access-port until the 18th and i ordered it on the 28th! So its like it shipped on Monday since ground takes 5 days to most places in the united states.

Im not trying to be a d!#k or nothing but this is your business and along with that comes customer support -- i should know i run my own site and customer support is no joke but its just something you gotta do. On my site i get people asking me questions over and over and over and to you its the same question but to them its new and something they don't know and it gets very frustrating.

In turn you didn't do anything extra for me (I paid $730) for an item which should really ship out faster than 11 days (business at that), I understand you have to get it from COBB but when someone wants to answers to questions on an item they paid $730 for i would think you would understand their concern. $730 is a lot of money to spend on 1 thing doesn't matter what it is -- For me thats rent for 2 months or like 2 car payments.

Just saying

You would think a guy who's parents are only making him pay 350 bucks in rent for the basement would be more calm.

If people are sooo worried about how long it take for them to get the AP, I can't wait until they try to follow the Calibration Service instructions and have to wait for maps.

Why are you so concerned about my life? I don't live with my parents and i probably make more money than you.
Money isn't the issue here its the customer service.

And ill be on him about that as-well. MM isn't the only person that tunes COBBs either so i can also go to a tune shop....but that still isn't the point the whole post was about CUSTOMER SERVICE.

What part of this don't you get?

Shipping Policy for MazdaManiac
Orders are processed in the sequence in which they are received. Orders will typically ship within eleven (11) business days from receipt of payment.

good luck with that.
I'm sure the pricing (and results) will be VERY competitive with MM's pricing / results.
