Believe me, you would know!

The misfire code is a lot like the knock sensor - it will trip and react to everything BUT what it was designed to sense.

I've tuned many a car that had horrific stumbling and misfires and not a single P0300/1/2, but I see many, many bone-stock cars return that code with absolutely no actual misfire.
Its essentially just a noise sensor for the ESS, just like the knock sensor is actually a bad motor mount sensor.

Just got my first custom tune installed and took it for a test drive. Its great! So much smoother through the powerband.

When I go to do my next logs, do I do the logs on the custom tune or again on the base calibration tune?

Thanks.

Use the latest tune you were sent.

Perfect. Thanks!

I can not wait to see what the next tune does. Is there usually as much of a difference from stock to the first tune as there is from first to second tunes?

When I had my AP on my first RX8, it took me 3 calibrations to get my fueling and trims correct before MM made the adjustments for the "performance" tune.

Make sure your logs accurately represent what you are being asked to log and you'll get through the process efficiently.

Don't expect power immediately.

Unfortunately, it is a gradient, so don't expect to feel massive improvements from one update to the next.

The best way to feel what you have gained is to go back to stock after we are done (probably by your 4th or 5th iteration) and compare the difference.

(Unless you are FI, in which case going back to stock would be a very bad idea! lol)

Hmm.
Did you read the instructions on my site? How about the confirmation on the GoogleCheckout when you paid for the unit?
Seriously, how many more times am I going to have to answer this question?
Do people really spend $700 that easily and not read the receipt, contract or instructions?

lol. Totally acceptable!

Lemme quote the shipping details here AGAIN, so they can be on every other page of every single thread discussing the AccessPORT.

Orders are processed in the sequence in which they are received. Orders will typically ship within eleven (11) business days from receipt of payment.
Shipping times vary by destination. Shipping is by UPS to the USA and USPS to all other locations.
ALL PURCHASERS **MUST** PROVIDE A VALID E-MAIL ADDRESS (NOT A GOOGLE-PROVIDED E-MAIL ADDRESS) TO RECEIVE THE MAZDAMANIAC CUSTOM CALIBRATION SERVICE. FAILURE TO DO SO WILL RESULT IN NO CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS, UPDATES, SHIPPING INFORMATION OR FURTHER INFORMATION!

Yeah, she's freaking fantastic.
I don't usually post other people's stuff here, but she just stopped me dead in my tracks the other day when I saw those pics. Totally speechless.
To me, I don't think there could be a more perfect balance of muscle tone and curves.

Hmm strange. That's the first time I've had one get lost on the interwebs. Not in my junk filter or anything. Oh well, as long as you've got it in the queue it's all good.

Jeff,

Will you send us an email once the new calibration is ready or do we have to check the website?

What the F*&^%????

It been extacly 2 weeks since I ordered my AP from MM. Why wouldn't you answer any of my e-mails? Is that how you treat your Customers? I understand that you busy, but simple order confirmation would be nice. I just checked and after 14 days my order is not even shipped yet! I'm seriously frustrated. Yes, I did read your website looking for some answers and Yes, I did what ever I was told to do on Google checkout... I just don't see any reason - why wouldn't you reply to any of my e-mails.
