brakes

I haven't really looked into any vendors yet. Can some one point me in the right direction for a set of good slotted discs?

we only sell big brake kits if you are interested in that

we don't sell OEM replacements because the OEM are very high quality and at this time there are only knockoff manufacturers out there with unknown safety standards

the brembo ones you see on the web are fake...please be aware.

Brembo only makes a big brake kit for the RX-8 not OEM replacement discs.

You can get your OEM discs slotted and/or drilled but beware that it will wear your brake pads down faster. If you want new OEM discs you can modify I can get those for you.

Best Regards,

Jason

oooh I haven't heard of PS doing rotors for the 8 yet but I'm not surprised if they have

for those who don't know but what they do is take an OEM rotor, clean it up, slot it, and if you want cryo, they deep freeze it...changing the molecular structure and strengthening it. Then coat it in a cadium finish to look pretty.

We should really carry those I can't tell you how many people have asked for just rotors that are clean looking

so are you saying the OEM's are higher quality than most after market brake kits? Because I was looking at getting big either slotted or drilled rotors mostly for the look but I also want to maintain performance

I was referring to knockoff brake direct OEM replacements.

The big brake kits will provide an improvement but not much in everyday use...high heat lots of track time you'd want it. Our car is ranked as one of the best brakers in the world there was a whole thread about it recently. You'd be better off getting an upgraded brake line and painting the inner rotor to clean up the rust.

Buying the Powerslot rotors I doubt would be detrimental to performance but would be a great improvement in looks.

I could sell you a big brake kit if you want though...they look cool .

I just got slotted&drilled Rotoras... you can check them out here .

My first impressions are good, but I've only been able to drive it twice as its been in the shop for paint. The big difference I noticed is with the drilled the brake pads catch on the rotors quicker, giving you a better response time when you press the brake pedal. Just thought I'd throw in my opinion, the drilled are well worth it,
