Is that just the RAM air extension you are selling or the intake + the extension?

You'd already have sold at least 4 if it was up on your site

Does one need to have the REVI AIR INTAKE inplace in order to install the ram air intake or will this work on the stock air intake independently.???

my guess would be yes, because of the VFAD, and I am also speculating that RB did their research with the REVi installed, to make this a companion mod.

I have been hanging out until both the units were available before i commited myself to purchasing.

Cant help but wonder if the ram air intake will improve the initiall REVI INTAKE butt performance figures ,also how it will work with cars that have the canzoomer unit installed .

throads thanks for your guessti ....... mate

Read the RB website about their development on this duct. It is made to compliment both REVi and other Intakes.

It is basically a Cold Air Extension that works like a Ram Air.

my magic ball also tells me...

Racing Beat offers our Ram Air Duct for use with the stock intake box or the Racing Beat REVi Intake Kit. The inlet of this duct is positioned in the mouth opening of the Mazda RX-8 to allow cooler ambient air to be force-fed into the intake tract, converting your intake into a true "cold-air" intake system!

Designed by Racing Beat, this high-density polyethylene intake duct mounts under the nose of your RX-8 and directs air into the inlet of the REVi Intake Kit or the stock air box. If you own another aftermarket intake, it is possible that this duct can be installed to aid with the input of cooler air into the engine compartment.

The installation of this duct requires the removal of the nose from the RX-8 and can easily be undertaken by 1-2 people in about an hour. Fully detailed instructions, with numerous photos included, will guide you through the installation process. Although this process might sound rather challenging, the process is relatively straightforward and can be undertaken using only simple hand-tools.

Damn Matt, had I knew you'll have these for sale, I'd have asked to delay shipment of my REVi so they can arrive together.
Now I have to pay for shipping once again.

Wrong... you are not searching hard enough. And the Auto exe one is not even a RAM intake, it just have a RAM in its name. It still uses the stock VFAD.

RE Amemiya has a cold air intake very similar to racing beat, and they has a carbon fibre box and selling at 90000 Yen.

THe RE Amemiya one look like a big fish mouth.

What does the Racing Beat one looks like? Any pics?
