Yeah, that sale is crazy... I would have bought one but I have a perfectly working motor right now, and nowhere to store an extra. Plus, if I blow a motor I want one with all the goodies you have to offer. :D

Ah, those days are long gone. It has become SO hard to provide excellent quality used components from cores. I'm planning on going the opposite direction actually and offer a different grade of engine, a 'better' renesis perhaps with new rotor housings every time and other improvements that we already do with others I'm cooking up right now.

Actually I'm not doing anything with forced induction in mind. I will leave that to others. We have not spent the R&D time necessary to build for that purpose. I have many thoughts on the topic and they are substantiated by other experts who have put boost to RX8 engines: New rotor housings are a wise investment with your build and anything else that will promote proper sealing so as to prevent gases from the power phase leaking into the area of oncoming compression of air and fuel. If I were building for FI, I would also mill the rotor to accommodate a taller apex seal a la FD 13B dimension. There is also the problem of flat housing deformation in the exhaust region identified by Cameron Worth of Pettit Racing some years back.
What we are building now is better than stock and costs a little more. It would be better for FI than your average build but we are not putting a warranty for any FI application. I will announce our new engine program this week officially in another thread.
