Safe boost level
I'm debating on what to set my boost levels to for regular driving and for occasional sprited driving. I am thinking 6-7psi for everyday and 10 for spirited, but I would like to get some opinions from some of the more experienced rotary experts on what they feel is a safe amount of boost to run for the long term. For both a continuous basis and an occasional basis. Assuming of course, proper control of A/F and timing and "average" driver abuse.

I'd also like to know this. Plus, if you tune the car for 11psi, will running it at less than that be ok? I assume running more boost than you tuned for could lead to problems, but running less should be fine.

IIRC from what I saw of the software when I picked my car up, you tune the fuel based on the boost level, so once you have it tuned across the board from 0PSI to whatever your max is, you should be fine anywhere in between

Since the Interceptor is MAP based you can turn the boost down without worrying about retuning.
Yes, on stock injectors. I'm guessing that you think 10psi is to much for them. I know Scott has pushed 12psi on them, granted I only know that he did it briefly, and I believe your running 9psi on a regular basis. What do you think is the safe limit?

Well, first let me qualify by saying that flow - not boost - is the determining factor.
That said, the injectors on the RX-8 will support about 300 HP at the crank. That is about ~275 at the wheels. Safely, that means only 8 PSI or so from the torque peak to red line.
You can run more under that RPM, but pushing the boost over 9 PSI after 6k RPM is not a good idea.
