That is a little odd, I would have imagined that with each progressive turbo type, the price and horsepower would be proportionally greater?

im confused still how yall are releasing this... are you going to have it where you can purchase if from your website ever? with a parts list, and stuff?

or do you pretty much just have to PM Mazsport and tell him you want one? or what

Eventhough I have a turbo, and am not in the market to buy a new one. Toxin440 has a good point. A easy to access website with full description of each kit would be pretty helpful.

I'm pretty sure Scott and the team at Mazsport are aware of this, and are probably working on this... but thats just me making an assumption.

yup - i do not doubt the "awesomeness" of this kit. I just know before I send someone almost 10,000 dollars I personally would just like to see high quality photos of the components, detailed information on what I can expect and such.

Not knocking Mazsport in any way at all just kinda ranting. I'm very excited - in an odd twist if there was a site of his that said "click here to order - Type 1 turbo kit is in stock" that would **** me up even more because I would be so tempted..... SO ******* tempted to buy it now, even though it wouldnt be smart of me to do so

Ingenuity can not be put in order, it's like telling an artist to give you a diagram of a painting before hand.....

I am back in Tampa and Scott and Christy took a detour to the Sema Show. They tried to ship me back out there, but you guys are keeping me way too busy at the office.....

all kits have the same T4 hybrid turbo....

We have this Turbo Type 3 being installed on a RX8 in our shop currently.....it will look very aggressive.....

Does the Type 3 kit have any advantages over the Type 1 kit?
What components make Type 3 more expensive than Type 1?

dude... no turbo (that i know of) will keep up with a 350z with aps twin turbo... those things walk on vipers easy.

but it will help you keep the 350z in sight

Eh? APS kit makes about 400 the way they ship it. The dyno on their home page was at 9.6 PSI and that was with 94 Octane gas.

Mazsport RX8 kits can make 380-390ish with 94 octane. Oh and the rx8 weighs a lot less than the Z car.

So... all things being equal, you could probably keep up or pass up the guy.

If its the high power turbo, then it will be alot harder. My guess is its not the high power but the original one (still alot of power tho), then you might just give him a run for his money.

When I get the rest of my car done, I will put some time slips up from the 1/4 and lap times at buttonwillow and willow springs. I am not saying the RX8 is now king, but it sure is close.

from my conversations with mazsportmantis even though the site isnt up for the kits yet you can buy them and 15-20 days later (as I was told) usually have the kit sitting on your doorstep.

as soon as I have 8G's laying around that can be blown on this im putting in an order. Thank god im outta state so I dont have to pay taxes on this bitch!
