I don't really like the intercooler position, but I certainly understand why it's there. Too bad mazda made it so there wasn't any airflow in the upper portion of the stock front nose.
The car's nice and clean though....let's see the engine bay!

Scott,
I'm currently based in Singapore and would like to import a T1 or T4 kit. Been following the Mazsports threads avidly and must say that I am more than impressed.
How do I go about placing an order? Also would maps be included as well? Lastly if I am able to get a group buy together....could we work something out to fly you out here for the installs / tuning?![Wink](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
Much appreciated for taking the time.

The Dyno number......
338RWHP and 246 torque at 9psi
We had some overheating at this point which just required a few fixes. Also, we ran into that same issue that the Type 1 kit had. The car was "blowing the spark" once it hit 338RWHP so the owner and Scott decided to stop and not push for more.
The customer will be adding the HKS ignition box, last I heard, and come back out for another dyno run. This ignition box is essential to getting to those higher numbers. We have it on the Type 1 now and on the Type 2.

Good numbers - you think the Type 2 will do any better with the heat problems since it's an air to water intercooler?

The 400RWHP is not so hard to obtain...it really matters though, what mods you have...the health of your Renesis, and the time you commit.
These kits have reached RWHP that is desired by the customers. We think it is just as important to document each kit through a customer's experience so we can share the hows and whys.
