Why are Mazsport engine mounts better?

Will the Mazsport engine mounts really last longer and possibly for the life of the car?

Mazsport has soft and hard grommets, which is recommended?

Will idle suffer with the stronger Mazsport mounts? Or does that depend on grommet type too?

Any plus versus minus issues with going with the Mazsport engine mounts versus OEM?

I'm not sure how much better the Mazsport engine mounts are but you'll feel alot more engine vibration/feel with harder grommets. Get the soft one if you want to maintain the stock-like ride quality. The engine will move more in the engine bay with the soft grommets though. So there are both up and down sides for either one.

[QUOTE=sosonic;2358851]

Q: Will the Mazsport engine mounts really last longer and possibly for the life of the car?

A: Yes they will last a VERY long time. We subject them to 350rwhp+ cars everyday!

Q: Mazsport has soft and hard grommets, which is recommended?

A: For most applications I would recommend the soft version.

Q: Will idle suffer with the stronger Mazsport mounts? Or does that depend on grommet type too?

A: Compared to the drastic vibrations caused by bad or weak factory mounts most customers report an improved idle quality.
