Hi Steve. Maybe you can help me. I just got my VersaTune stuff for my 2009 RX-8 Grand Touring. I can't seem to get past the Identify My Car. I click the button and I get an error saying my ECU is running firmware that is not supported by the current version of VersaTuner and gives me my ECU code to send to you guys. VersaTuner version is 1.12.70.0.

We do not have any pre-built tunes for ported engines. You can modify the volumetric efficiency tables to compensate for the porting. You can adjust fuel, timing, oil injection, etc. In my experience, spark timing makes the biggest difference in power. Feel free to download and install the demo version and see what is inside.

I was thinking about getting your product because I recently rebuilt and street ported my rotary. Will this product help me? I am currently running stock ECU. Is there a preset within the program that I can select to optimize the port, or would I just need to tinker with it to set all the necessary parameters?
