Ya the opening part is what I did, there is a youtube vid on how to do it, and no i didnt use any resistors at all. I wired them to the fuse box to the radio

was just writing you a message about the led lights you put inside your headlights. i read a blog about how to do something similar, you pop out the headlights and cook em in an oven for like 7 mins on aobut 250-300 deg f to melt the seal and open em. is this how you did it? and for the led lights, did you have to wire in a resistor for the sets? i know this is a lot to ask, but any help would be much appreciated. i had an idea to do something just like this but wasnt sure how to fully wire the lights.
