  • Signature
White R3, engine-less White 231 S1 with single-turbo 13B REW engine & conversion kit waiting to go in.
Buying a turbo RX8 is like marrying a stripper. It's great fun but the time, effort and expense become humongous.
Beware: older people may be cr*p drivers and mechanics but we can afford better lawyers

    Hi Ian,
I'm in Australia and have been reading your thread on the REW swapped Rx8. I saw the photo of what you described as the poor mans solution to having the rx8 trigger wheel fitted to the pulleys on the front of the FD front cover.

I am wanting to follow your approach on this and I wondered if you had got that trigger wheel from a renesis engine. I have my renesis still and I wondered if I need to whip the front cover off and steal the trigger wheel out of it.

    Thanks heaps Ian.

    Jason.
