Well that eliminates me too, Silver and its not quiet, lol, but if you were willing to put new tires on it I could've over looked being without for a few days.

It is an amazing track.
I've been out there a hand full of times or so, in my Porsche Boxster, my friend's GTI, and my gf's X-Fire.

I actually have video from a run around the track with the camera mounted on the front bumper of my Boxster, if you're interested in seeing it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YAw6qPVptGg

Sorry the camera was tilted slightly, but doesn't take away from the fun of the track.

I'm looking forward to getting out there this summer in my 8.
Don't know if I can make it in 2 weeks however.

BC.

I have a bid on a house out in Falcon and will be moving out there as soon as the Short Sale goes through. IF you are willing to wait an unknown amount of time on a part from the FS thread below I will handle getting it out to you when I move.

What color's your car?
I've been seeing a silver and a white RX8 on my commute in and out of Boulder every day for the past week or so.

I take 36/Foothills/Diagonal in to Boulder in the mornings, and Foothills and 93 back home in the evenings.

Mine is silver, i would say it could possibly be mine. I work in Gunbarrell, and only live about a mile up the road from work. Mine still has Temp tags since i have three moths to get hard ones. So no front or rear plate for my 8 for now.

Hah,

A friend of mine lives just over the Watertown border and up the 401 a bit in Kingston Ontario. I've been through Watertown about a half dozen times over the years.

As for get togethers, I have no idea, since I'm new here too.
We can always set something up to change that.

I have a great route that takes you through estes and allens park. Really fun drive but you have to do it on a week day or else there's a lot of tourist traffic.

That sounds good, deff sometime. I really want to make some new friends, and why not Rx-8 Friends right?

P.s i was at the gas station out by Target off of Hover, and a gray 8 pulled up next to the store part. Im just curious if he is on here. I waved to him and he waved back. Just curious.

Sometimes I do a lunchtime run up Lefthand Canyon, when work is boring me to tears. Usually wide awake after that.

I work in North Boulder, and live in Arvada.
26 mile commute in the morning, and a 32 mile drive back home along 93.

I usually take my lunch around 12 pm.
PM me when you might want to do it, and we can meet up for a run.

I just moved to Pueblo from Eugene, OR. I drive an 05 Shinka that I have owned for just over a year now. I received a refurbished 07 engine just before I left Oregon under warranty. My car has 50000 miles on it (new engine has 1k) and I have yet to go to a track. Everything is stock besides a ACT Prolite flywheel and stage 1 clutch. Something I noticed right after I took my car off the Auto transport was the reduced power at lower RPMs. Damn the high altitude =/
I used some formula for HP loss at high altitudes, according to the formula I lost 30 hp moving to Pueblo. Shucks...

According to Jeff (MazdaManiac) your car will automatically correct itself for altitude over time so you won't have any power loss. *shrug*

I work at the IBM facility.
That's pretty much, North Boulder.

Makes getting over to Left Hand Canyon for a lunch drive really, really easy.

Hey to all the new comers on here.

If you all have not done so yet join up on CMZC.NET. There are a couple of us RX-8 guys on there. We usually do several mountain cruises and hang out a lot with other mazda owners. I am GR-8 over there. Make sure to post a in the new members section and remember that your first 10 or less posts will need to be a approved before you have full forum access.
