Here's the cool thing about HPR, there are a bunch of different ways to enjoy it.
During the summer season (ends Oct 31), you can choose a full day of driving (8 am to 5 pm, lunch at 12 to 1), or a half day of driving (8am to 12, or 1pm to 5pm).
If you pay the day of the event, its $160 for full day, or $100 for a half day.
If you pay in advance, its $150 or $90.
But, if you know you're going to do it multiple times, or if there's going to be you and several other people joining, you can buy lapping day cars, which reduces the price a bit.
I just bought a 3 pack for Half Day, which brings the individual price down to $81 a ticket. Plus, I can hand over my ticket to whomever I want, like my gf is using one tomorrow.
If a couple of people wanted to join in, we could pool cash, and buy one of these packs of lapping day tickets. a 6 pack of half days costs $475, which brings it to just over $71 a piece. Get a 12 pack, and its $75 a piece to cover the $900.
Something to consider.

Here are a few photos from the group earlier before I had to leave. Good to meet the new guys in the springs, and the 8 owners are awesome too
Enjoy. Next time we need to have a larger parking lot if more come. I enjoy taking photos of cars, and I could abuse yours all day long if you'd let me :D
Anyway, it was nice meeting everyone once again

Saturday Oct 8th they are having a Variety Day, where they change up the course:

Here's the calendar:
http://www.highplainsraceway.com/events.html
So, it looks like Sat Oct 8th, Fri Oct 14th, or Fri Oct 21st are the only open lapping days for October.
If you want to drive on the track, your car needs to be in good shape, and you shouldn't be afraid of chewing up your tires, plus, you need some form of helmet.
If you don't want to go on the track with your own car, I will be happy to bring anyone on the track as a passenger in my own car. You still need a helmet, though. I might be persuaded to bring one of my spares, but you will have to deal with my helmet for as long as you wear it. :P
I already have my day paid up for a half day event.
You guys decide which one sounds best.
The Saturday event sounds interesting as I've never done anything but the full track before.

Track has always been spic and span clean.
During the course of the day, some cars may leave ***** of their tire rubber on it, but there usually isn't any pebbles, dirt or random rabbits running around loose.
Now, if a huge dust storm rolls in, don't come looking for me, I'll be covering my car in wet paper towels.

If you have a 'vert don't you have to have a rollbar? If I go depending what day y'all hose and don't run, but wanna photo-Op your cars, could that happen or do I have to still pay?
