[Chicago] JGTCA.com's Poker Rally - September 24th, 2005
PokerGT - Saturday September 24th, 2005 (Rain date: Saturday October 1st, 2005)
JGTCA.com's Poker Rally - cards and cars
Well folks we've been talking about some projects for some time now, and it looks as though we're ready to go public with this one...
How does a 5 checkpoint rally sound (start/finish counts twice as its the same)? No we're not going all out like the Gumball Rally or "Cannonball Run" style, but the spirit of the event will be the same We'll call it sports touring.
The event will take place on a usual Saturday, but probably earlier in the day and will take approximately 4 hours to complete (a more accurate estimate will be conducted once a recommended, but not required, route has been chosen). We'll be hitting the 847, 630, 773 and possibly 312 area codes with the run.
It will not be an all out contest of speed. And we won't be condoning any infractions of traffic or more specifically speed laws...
Registration will begin shortly.... This event is only open to the first 20 cars with paid registrations. $30 before the event. $35 day of the event. A portion of the entry fee will go to the prize pool, a portion will go to materials/supplies for the event, and a portion will go towards compensating the JGTCA staff working the event in some form (not necessarily monetary for you staffers out there)!

Official Rules and Terms of Participation
IMPORTANT NOTE: There will be a separate entry form and waiver which will cover additional details, like minimum age to participate (18), and other requirements like a vehicle inspection the day of the event, current proof of insurance, and a valid driver's license.
Please join JGTCA.com for additional and developing details.
