Thanks for the votes guys. Not too sure how many more days are left, it is only for a week total. Steve, if the picture makes the calendar it will have the picture credit listed.
I'll be at Fuel tomorrow, around 10. Top will be off this week, unless it decides to rain some more.

Voted for the sexiest Miata there
Have a great weekend all, probably the last nice weekend we may see until Spring. Don't forget that if you are up for a fun time Sunday join Ohio-Rotaries for their meet at Rotary Park.

Sounds like fun but I'm in yard clean up mode. Hopefully the last grass cutting and leaf pickup for the season.

Had a chance to throw the oil cooler screens in this afternoon. I was losing light as I took these shots, so I'm not sure how well they turned out. Might take some more, but I'm happy I finally went through with this mod.

saddly im looking for A6's. depending on condition and how old they are thats still a good price. ill ask around and see if anyone wants them. pics would still help and if you know the age of the tire that would be nice. worth noting that those are r-comps and not actual "slicks". not trying to give you hell but it may help you sell them if you list them as such.

Robo, welcome into the fold.
I've seen two black RX-8s today in and about my area that I haven't seen before. If I get the chance I'll direct them here.
Fuel was good today, some nice cars (including an R8 in a burnt orange color), but no RX-8s. In fact I was the lone Mazda, at least for the time I was there.

Congrats Robo. Kings does a good job with service. The free oil change works for me since I live about 6 miles from them and I figure since I follow their maintenance schedule, they have the records on file in case a warranty claim ever comes up.

And it would take something close to my asking price for me to let it go. With all of the work I've put into it, I have a lot of upfront costs out of the way and would be able to have lots of fun with it next year.

I was looking at Maxima's mostly because of my influence, but they are not to the wife's liking anymore, which is OK with me. They run high on the rape-meter at the stealership's, and I really didn't like the car's I looked at myself as well. We have settled on Jetta or Passat 02-04 ish. We have one in mind right now, it's a Jetta VR6, and I drove it yesterday. The thing that sucks about driving an RX8 everyday, is that you jump in any car, and expect it to handle and steer like the 8. I must say I like the VR6, and it is very nimble, more so than the Max, and with the V6, it's got a good punch to it. Also, being a GLX, it has every option, and the interior puts the Max to shame. Oh, and did I mention loaded Passat's/Jetta's are also a lot cheaper than a comparable MAX too? I think a lot of that has to do with the conception that many people have of Japanese cars these days. Seems they all have a higher price than their Domestic/European counterparts. Heck, even some of the Bimmer's/Mercedes I saw were cheaper in the same year/mileage range.
So, I am looking at VW's now (or Audi A4, A6).

What about a used Acura TL 2006 or so. High reliability and that year didn't have the big honker on the front end. Here's an overpriced one with low mileage.

Beware of VW/Audi. They have questionable reliability and they won't pass a dealership without it automatically pulling in and emptying your wallet.
Just my humble opinion and experience, although I did like my 84 GTI until I had to replace the engine, gas tank, water pump, misc other bits that fell or broke off in the 4 years of ownership (bought new).

Otay folks.
We'll be doing Redsun's KW's on saturday. Most likely around noon or 1:00 i'm guessing. I'll have to confirm what time he wants to do it, but most likely after Fuel since it won't be all that warm until then anyway.
The place is open to anyone that wants to come out. I have tools (probably not enough for everyone to do something), if you need to do some work, or you can swing by just to hang and laugh at Dan and I while we swear at his rusty suspension bolts. Hell you can even come lend a hand if you want.
I don't have a grill yet, so that out, but we can order some pizza or something if there's some interest.
Post up if you want to swing by and i'll pm you my address. I'm in milford close to both the Wards Corner exit and the RT. 28 exit for reference.

I'll go ahead and list some prices for some items I have. These do not include shipping. I'd prefer if you pick them up in Lexington but I can make it up to NKY/Cincy every now and then.
BHR Ignition Coil Kit with black MSD plug wires: $400
- Excellent condition, virtually as-new. About 5,000 miles on it. Sells for $499 brand new with a 1-2 month wait
HKS Hi-Power Cat Back Exhaust: $350
- About as much wear as you would expect for seeing some rain and a few thousand street miles. Sounds amazing, no leaks, no dents. The tip is not as bright blue as sometimes advertised. The thermal coating has held up well, your personal preference may be to re-polish some of it. Usually $425+ brand new, plus shipping
Enkei RPF1 Silver 17x9.0 +35 with Hankook RS-3 255/40-17 Set, non-staggered: $900
- Nearly $1,500 brand new. The tires have PLENTY of meat left on them and were routinely rotated. Only a few minor nicks in the wheels from lug nut torqueing. No flat spots or toe wear on the tires, very moderate camber wear (only about -2.5 degrees at worst).
I have a few other randoms if anyone is interested:
- Carbotech XP8 front pads, ~70% life left
- Custom low seat mounts for fixed-back seats, driver and passenger side, based on off-the-shelf Corbeau mounts
