Believe me. I know the benefits of air tools. I grew up in a garage with everything but a lift. If we didn't have a tool, my dad would make it. Wrenching by hand all the time sux.

Kevin, nice score on the air tools. FYI in my experience they don't work really great on suspension bolts (the high torqued ones underneath), I usually just use my big breaker bar.
My 1/2 " impact is rated to 475ft/lb's so it should work for most, but i still expect to have to use a breaker bar and a cheater now and again. I'm still not a fan of breaking bolts unless absolutely necessary.

any time tact.

I'll probably have a cook-out when it gets warm this spring. If you guys have stuff to do/put on then you can all come over and do it as a group if you want.

We can do that whenever you want. I have an HVLP gun and tank if you want to give a go at spraying them yourself. I plan on using that bumper as a learning experience so i can spray smaller stuff myself.

That building would be awesome, but i'm pretty sure getting a car in it would be quite difficult.

I want to check out Pete Rose park @ rt. 50 and Fairbanks in the west side and see if i can get my car into the old building there http://g.co/maps/36afz

edit: I was thinking the same about the DA, but i'll probably buy an electric one so i can work in the basement when it's cold out. Even though the compressor is on wheels, it's effing heavy and i'm not gonna tray to get it to the basement.

Thinking about selling the 8. Its my second one and I am just ready for something new and will keep my interest. I know I just bought the AP exhaust and Tein S tech springs and I love them both and the look and sound is just amazing but I am ready for a new challenge and something a little better on gas to be honest. 160 a tank at $40 + a week is a tad bit crazy for me. I am thinking about getting back into an S2K or a used 135i..depending on price.

I will have both items for sale after next week. If anyone wants them, let me know. Also, if you know of anyone interested in a great looking white 8..let me know too. I think Kevin can second that.

Oh, the powder factory?... I think it could work. We could find a couple places around the exterior to snap some.

we could do rolling shots through there though, or at least driving shots with a stationary cameraman.

Moetes' car is super clean and low mileage. It will be a good buy for someone. Are you going back to stock springs?

You're a pain in the ***, but sure. We'll have better tools this time at least.

Bb8: I vote for putting it on the rear deck where RX-8 is currently

Thanks Kevin!

It should go a lot faster this time too.

Anyone want my exhaust or springs??

I do love the 8 and appreciate it but I am just ready for something new. I am 50/50 on either an s2k or 135i. Either one has to be a great deal and color combo that I can't refuse.

Kevin, your going to be so good at doing this that if you help me put Chief's D-Specs in, you'll be able to do it with eyes closed.
Who says i'll help whenever you get em, bring it on over.

Yep It's actually quite large and i think there's access to it from behind the basketball courts. I haven't been out there in a while, so i'm not sure.

I vote 135 as well. boost is better. Let me know when you want to do the springs again. I'm pretty open now that my parents have been down and the holidays are out of the way.

A little. They get nasty if you drive into their parking lot. Lots of No Trespassing signs. I walked around there a couple times and got yelled at and they do have some nasty guard dogs just waiting to make kibble out of you.

Moete, how much for the exhaust?

My vote is 135i for what it's worth unless you're thinking a S2K CR.

My ticket to Arg. was 2200 and the wife's was 1800 (she went 5 days earlier)

Congrats on the tires and the tickets.

^ I'd buy your exhaust if my 8 isn't needing an extensive surgery from my accident...

Hey everyone!
I know i kind of dropped off the face of the earth for a while there, but i should be around more in the springtime. I saw this on facebook today and wanted to share with you. Fuel is looking to get more likes for a contest and i figured that since most of you have been there, maybe you could help them out by giving them a clicky.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Fuel-C...ti/56829973371

also Moete, what are you looking to get for your exhaust?

Looks like I'll be heading back to work this coming week. The Coast Guard finally got my documents straightened out, I have to wait for them to show so I can send them off to finish my application for Isle of Man reciprocal documents. After that I'm good to go. Not sure if I'll make Fuel tomorrow or not, will depend upon the weather.

Weather doesn't look to be too good for Saturday. We have some freezing rain in Maineville right now. The dogs are skating on the patio.

Chief, how long you gone for this time?

Pretty frozen in West Chester right now. Snow is actually helping traction at this point.

3-4 months. My relief wants to stay home until mid-May at least, he isn't leaving the ship until beginning of Feb so I'll stay as long as I can.

Staying home. I had to go out last night to pick up my stepdaughter from work (around 2245) and while it wasn't super slick there was a noticeable lack of traction. Disturbing in how people were driving (some super slow, some too fast). If I am feeling slipping in the Speed6, I know Joe Toyota/Honda doesn't have full traction.
