Fun_man, we're practically neighbors. I live not too far from River's Bend. Rotary Kyttten lives pretty close too.
As for a photo shoot, we'll probably do one again in the Spring. By then I'll have my Tein's installed and hopefully my wheels painted.
We can always do a winter meet but it would have to be in a bar someplace. Maybe go out tonight and do some doughnuts.

The picture down in my sig is the lineup of cars at the park during the cookout.

I'd be down to drive up to Mason Pub/Tabby's/Fox n Hound (since those are the only two Mason Bars I know of) and meet up. Still don't think I've met either you or Wendy yet.

I normally go to Buck's on Rt 22. It's close to the old 20 Mile House/Red Rock Tavern in Landen. I have a bar stool reserved there with my name. I've seen a couple 8's parked there a couple times but no one claimed to have one.

If anyone is looking for a nice S2, here's one in Springfield IL with low miles, GT w/nav. I like the black S2 better than silver.

On another note, I think I've decided to do a 13b-rew motor swap at the end of this Renesis's life. I'm hoping to find a decent 13b-rew and then upgrade turbos and a street port the motor.

Car is up for sale on here and craigslist. I will be washing the car tomorrow and taking more pictures so it will go on Autotrader and the rest of the pictures will be plugged into my listing here and Craigslist.

It's working now lol, but I'm probably going to have to get an upgraded starter. The replacement from advance auto works better, but still doesn't have the power.

I am down for a winter meet Here is a taste of how my Sunday went...
Dear Mazda,
I wanted to thank you for how easy you made it to get to the hood release today. My 2004 RX-8 GT is not low enough maintenance to be able to go for weeks w/o access to the engine bay and when for some reason the release didn't release I was in for quite the chore. I especially enjoyed the fact that after removing the entire under pan (held on by cheap parts) I was still unable to get to the right part of the release with my hand to release it's death grasp on my hood because it is so tight in there. An hour later after having to completely remove the bolts that held the entire hood latch assembly in place she was freed. I would like to say there was a lesson learned here but alas there wasn't
Sincerely,
Me

If I could have I woulda, lmao - I was desperate enough I texted a few of you, lol, thanks for those I texted too guys, it really was a serious pain and I hope it never happens to any of you because there is no easy way to get to that latch unless you are Alice in Wonderland and ingest the "Drink Me" potion to shrink and crawl up in there.

Okay, so....I'm a bit desperate.
If any of you are free Friday and Saturday, or either or....I need to get this damn car finished.
The new trans is in the car.
The new engine is hanging via chain in the car.
I just haven't had the time or man power to finish the car.
So, if any of you generous souls would feel so inclined to give me a call, and come out and help me, it would be SO much appreciated.
I need to get my baby back on the road
If you can possibly meet up with me, or give me a call, I'll pay for the Pop/Beer, or whatever.
Thanks

Dude, I figured you were back on the road since i hadn't heard form you in a while. My last few weekends have been rather busy anyway.
I supposedly have some furniture being delivered saturday, but once i find out when. I might be able to head over and lend a hand for a bit. I say supposedly because they were supposed to deliver tomorrow, but they weren't able to get some of it in, in time.

Tabby's requires you to drive a pickup truck. Fox n Hound's is pretty good. Beer Tuesday is really cheap. Drafts are like 2 bucks. Mason Pub people get shot there.

I propose a Winter Meet at Fox and Hounds on Mason-Montgomery Rd on 2/21 (Tues) for Beer Tuesday. 36 draft beers to choose from. $2 each. 6PM or so? They do have a big room so if enough show up, we can probably book it.
Food's OK there, but the beer is good. Bourbon Barrel Stout is on the menu too.

Oh man, just went there for the first time to take a friend for his 25th B-day....had a BLAST even though I sucked, lol. Doesn't matter where to me and yes I live out in the Maineville/Morrow area as well - been seeing some more 8's out here lately

ThatNewGuy: Looks like the new couch is coming next tuesday, so im free most of saturday. Give me a call or send me a text when you're up and about saturday morning.
I'm up for a winter meet, but won't be in the 8. I probably won't have it back together until March. I already have standing plans on Tuesdays, but could probably break them if people want to meet up at the Fox and Hounds
