As far as the sides, they are Versus Motorsport MS reps and when I fit them up to the body the rear part has a gap. Probably could work with a lot of body work. I don't have pics, but I would like to get these out of my garage, heck you can take my FD3S sides as well. I will probably buy authentic sides as I don't want to waste more money buying crap.

Sorry I couldn't make it today guys, been sleeping all day, and have the flu, definitely not going to work tomorrow.

Alright, unless this plate is unavailable when I go to order them, these are the options for the front plate. Now this is a LAST resort, as I plan on running without a plate until I get notified/pulled over for not running one. So hopefully this plate would just sit in my trunk.
According to the site they have never had anyone ticketed for running one of their plates on the front. I've always preferred the euro style plates. Let me know which one you think would look best on my black r3

Maybe I'm crazy to think that it would look better than a regular plate.

No plate FTW!
If a cop pulls you over for no plate, tell them the car was designed without a plate and having one causes the car to overheat. If that doesn't work, offer up a doughnut with sprinkles.
I need to talk to Chief about boosting my Miata since I was ridiculed yesterday
Wait until I pop a turbo in it and rip-snort the wheels off your 8's. :0

I think the euro plate will look better than a regular plate, but def go with your plan of running without as long as you can.
The wife helped me bleed my brakes again. Much better. Not sure if perfect, but better. I'm not used to the car anymore, so it could be a figment of my imagination. Once the grab, they grab and i still have pedal left, so i'll drive it a couple more times and bed my pads first before i decide.
Thanks again for coming over everyone. I had a good time and the car is back to normal which was a relief. It started right up today. Now it needs a good bath.

In other news, the wife tells me the Speed is making a whooshing noise. That tells me the boost tube from the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet came loose again. I told her not to drive it unless she has to and to take it easy. Not sure why the damn thing did that, it's 4 ply silicone with a T-clamp holding it. I'll probably just put the stock rubber one back on.

yeah right dude! whats that miata pushing now? 150hp?? prolly the same torque as an 8; you need to do a v8 swap and make that sucker into a banshee! http://staceydavid.com/projects/banshee
I was at The Mitty last year at Road Atlanta, Flyin' Miata had several of their cars (all three generations) there with LSx transplants. Talk about stuffed! I can't imagine a Miata with 300-400 hp, it would be insane.

You can get an LS6 with a T56 ~$6000 with pretty low miles. About 400hp and 400ft/lb tq
20b with no tranny (only came in auto tranny cars) with lowish miles is ~$3000 and would need a rebuild to do it right @~$4000 or dollars or more. You'd only have ~280hp and 290ft/lb of torque stock. You'd need a single turbo conversion, and a tranny to get to the ls6 stock numbers. Weight is almost the same for a dressed engine. engine + rebuild + mods + tranny = about ~$10k
I'd go lsx any day even if it doesn't sound as wicked. It's has more power potential, more stock power, more reliability and better drivability.
Just my thoughts and possibly the direction my 8 will go in as some point in the future.
