All I need is the catback and I'll be alright on the fireballs. My car does more of a...fire fart thing.

Need some opinions.. considering a racing beat exhaust (cat back).

Saw that they have a twin tipped version. Definitely don't see that often. Would I be shunned for getting a twin-tipped exhaust?

Will I have issues with warranty's for certain aftermarket addons?

I'm not a fan of the dual tip but you shouldn't have warranty issues with catback. The RB exhaust is pretty mild sounding and only a little deeper sound than stock.

A private show? I'm too fragile to attend such an event.

Where to buy Enkei?

Well, I need new tires before DGRR, and, since my stockers have seen better days, I'm thinking about putting some on a nice pair of RPF1's. The issue is... I'm new to this part of the country and have no idea where to buy locally. Do you guys have any suggestions? Otherwise I might join another forum and jump in on a group buy...

Tire Rack. Highly recommend. Just ship them to your house or installer. I had Sumeral install my tires/wheels.

I like the twin tip, but with the exhaust opening being as pictured, single tip may look more natural... (just the opening's contour doesn't look good with the twin tip...)

as for tire, I recommend Kutney Tire, but it's mainly because they are sponsoring our local SCCA where I autocross....

I have these Enkeis for sale cheap. 18" x 8" RP02-J. Set of 4. $300 for the set. No dents, no rash. Only one small chip that was retouched. They're lightweight (around 19lbs or less).

I really like it b/c it's different from everyone else. Just wish I could make a custom shroud for it...

if you could do the custom shroud, that would look great! is the S2 shroud removable like the S1? if so, it might not be that hard to custom fit something...

Yes it is removable. I had to replace a cracked one when I purchased the car. Just trying to figure out how I could do that. Probably be easier to make something out of metal.

I like the twin tips. I would think you could get some ABS and fill in the upper part of the stock shroud to make it flow with them better. Little paint and you're done.

how about getting another set of shroud and cut them on the corner, so it will look more rectangular opening? (or you can do it to your current set, but i'm always coward and need to have back up ready before I start.. lol)

Do you happen to have a 3d printer? I'll have to look into that as well.

I only just got a smart phone, what do you think? Sorry I can't help you out, I'd probably get into trouble if I had something like that.

Someone take a look at this diagram and tell me if they think item #13 looks like the exhaust shrouds?

2009 MAZDA RX-8 Parts - Online Mazda Parts

Thinking about getting a couple of extra shrouds and using ABS Plastic molding pellets to attempt to make the openings.

My only concern is that the plastic becomes flexible at 160 degrees. I'm sure there are higher temperature ratings.

Looks like 13 to me. If you are going to use OMP just get in touch with Jason there and ask him to be sure.
