Yeah tact that's a sick shot. And I'm all in for the "garage" warming party. I'm in need if some jack stands to throw my springs on the IS. Her wheel gap bothers the hell out of me.

so it's all up to BBRX8's schedule!
by the way, Cincinnati Region SCCA has posted the AutoCross Schedule for 2013.
Some are still tentative, but seems that the first events are on Easter weekends at Wilmington OH.
seems like we get to run on the concrete pad instead of the parking lot!
Mar. 30 Test and Tune
Mar. 31 Point Event #1
Apr. 5-7 National Match Tour
May 18 Point Event #2 / GLD Divisional

Unfortunately, I won't be in the house until April 15th, and then I will have many "fixer upper" projects ahead, like painting the whole house. I would plan on doing stuff at your house Tact, until I get things squared away.
Tact btw the fender roller needs to have a "Porsche adapter" due to the larger bolt circle. This makes it prohibitively expensive for the down payment ($450). So, I don't know what I will do right now as I don't have that money because of the house. Ugghhh, priorities.![Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)](https://www.rx8club.com/images/smilies/rolleyes.gif)

no problem. my driveway is always open for parties!
is the 450 downpayment just for the adaptors or adaptor and the tool it self? i wasn't sure.. but either way I can cover the security deposit if you need. (well, minus permission from my wife.. lol)
also, just a an FYI, when you paint your house, spare 10 buck more for a really good paint roller. it does make night and day difference in how easily you can paint, or you can just borrow mine. I have couple good paint rollers, extension, tray, drop cloths, wall sanding stuff, etc... not planning on using the anytime soon anyways.
I'm pretty much open for march except for the last two days (the 30th and 31st, it's an autocross weekend!). so any preference on date anyone?

Fuz, that may have to work, as I think Turn-in quoted me $60 a wheel on the RX8 if my memory serves me. It may be less hassle that way, I may call them or Write MS if I can't do it myself.
Tact, not sure but the standard adapter deposit is $250, I think they send which ever one you would need which would be BOTH in this case. I think the best thing to do is contact them. If your able to swing the DP on getting both adapters. I will pay for half the rental.
I do have both rear Bilstein Motorsports 400/200's now. So that is a start. Getting all kinds of quotes, and ideas for the front. The stock Koni's won't work without a faster revalve with 400# springs or it's bounce city, so it may be the same price to just get a set of front coilovers with camber plates as a unit. Here's my options right now.
I like the idea of monotubes, so front Bilstein's are still an option any spring (400# hypercoils). in the Firehawk fronts with 380/150 valving. This would probably end up being the most expensive route to take.
Gaz has quoted me $865 shipped for their GAZ gold fronts with my choice of spring rate sans camber plates.
BC Racing, I can get their old leftover V1's with #450 off-the-shelf w/camber plates for $1k shipped for the fronts.
Still waiting to hear back from SPAX to see if their engineers can throw together a #400 RSX model, off the shelf is #200, way too soft for a 951 IMO.
Also, Ceika Coilovers can get me pretty much anything I want (monotube inverted), and cheap. But, I don't think I would go this route. Probably poorly made.
If I could get KW V3's in just the front, I wouldn't even consider anything else.
Oh, and I have a "Wheel Painting" project that will most probably take place in Sept, after everything is settled, if anyone wants to sniff paint. Re-finishing the wheels with urethane basecoat/clearcoat "Grauschwarz" grey ala 997 GT3.

Tact,
Whenever you decide to get together, can I come pick up the painting supplies? That would really help out.
Thanks,
James

how many of us interested in rolling fender?
if enough of us needs it, and can chip in for the same price as if we rent one, I might just cover the difference and buy one.
as for porsche, I was reading that I can simply drill the mount with extra holes, so that it will fit on 5x130.
adding rental + adaptor + shipping, and considering only 5 days of use, do you think it may worth it?

Tact if the Stance one fits a 5x130, then??? it claims to be universal.
Stance Fender Roller
Probably would have to call and ask though really to be sure.
UPDATE: It will not fit, just had FR call Stance.

The only thing is that I can find the eastwood fender roller for about $200, and stance seems to be about 300 or more. I saw Shop Max one for 220, but they are out of stock...
I'll be keep looking and see where I can find the best deal.
!!! after reading around a little more, it seems eastwood hub is too small to drill extra hole for 5x130... so.. i'll be keep looking!
Here's the pic That I found where someone expand the hole to fit 5x130.

I actually sent them email asking if they will ever get them in stock. also i asked my friend in japan how much the shipping would be if he buys in japan and send it to me. my guess is the shipping makes it not worth it...
I'll contact stance as well though, if theirs will fit with 5x130

Miata's alive! Test drive went well, still have to check the radiator and probably add some coolant. Clutch pedal isn't right either, I followed the instructions from Flyin' Miata to adjust it so I'm going to check the factory manual. Should have her at Fuel this Saturday unless it's raining or something.

It'll happen but not until I get the clutch broken in. As it is right now the thing pulls noticeably better than it did before. It's no fun giving people rides if you can't make them soil themselves.
I can't imagine how much slippage was costing me acceleration with the old clutch.
