this http://vimeo.com/12067348 i also want to say that i hate promoting stuff and i dont get one cent out of any of you coming to these events. this is truely a labor of love. autocross changed my life and i just wish someone had pushed me to do it long before i ever did. i can also say that i would have sold my 8 a long time ago if it were not for autocross. if you've never done it you have no idea what your car is capable of. youd be shocked how far the limits of your car go(let alone your own). also its just a really good time hanging around a very diverse crowd that all likes the same thing.....cars. we are a very welcoming bunch and i wish i saw more of you out there but id still settle for just mike....he is one of the nicest guys ive met. so if any of you have any questions, again, feel free to ask or pm me. i am an open book. or just come down to an event. if your not sure about it just watch(its free!) and ride with someone(also free) i love riders and im working on the idea that i am faster with someone in the passenger side seat.

Chief: You'll be at fuel saturday right? I want see the new wheels.
ThatNewGuy: You should check out the AutoX sunday. I may stop by for a little while myself
lycanthrope: AutoX isn't really my thing. Not enough seat time compared to standing around time for me. When i do autox, i usually do smaller club events. That being said, I'll probably head out to show my support at a few throughout the year. It is a blast to drive though and I recommend everyone to try it out. It's a great way to learn the car. My time and resources are focused on HPDE's this year.

@ Nathan: You made me blush!
@ Kevin: Yes I'll be at Fuel. The new wheels are on (and I've had nothing but positive comments, except for my wife), but just to mess with you I think I'll put the white ones back on for tomorrow. It'll make the wife happy!

Edit.
That video got me pumped. Weather permitting, I'll definitely be there this weekend. I'm comfortable with my driving, but I've never pushed it like that. I'm excited now.

yes stx allows links bars full coilovers most exhaust work headers some intake stuff(thats a little complicated) and a few other things. also thanks new bars and a new alignment made the car feel good but the front bar acting up made it a little odd so with any luck i will have this problem sorted out in the next few weeks.....also tires. neeeeed more tire on the ground.

I had an awesome time on Sunday. It was great to see everyone again. If the first event was any indication of the rest of the season it looks like it's going to be a good one!

I have Jackson Racing sways front/rear, they are bigger than stock. The Bilstein PSS coilovers have pretty lame spring rates for performance, something like 290 front and 240 rear (they do ride nicely). Unfortunately I understand that the dampers won't allow me to just upgrade the springs so I'm going to have to figure out which coilovers I want to replace them with.

Hey folks, just got a demo 2010 RX-8 GT manual tranny the other day. I'd thought I'd jump in and introduce myself. Current owner of three Mazdas and just traded my 2006 Speed6 in for the Liquid Silver GT. I live northern Cincy near Kings Island.
I've been a fan of the 8 for some time and finally pulled the trigger. I had it on a trip to Columbus the other day and turned off the sat radio just to listen to the engine. Not impressed about gas mileage, but I knew that going in. You have to pay to play and it seems worth it.
I do photography on the side and probably will do some pics of the 8 pretty soon. A couple examples of the Grand Am RX-8's I've taken at Mid Ohio and VIR. I'll hopefully be headed to VIR in May for the GrandAm race. Let me know if anyone else is going.

Welcome!
You'll have to stop down and check out Fuel tomorrow or any saturday you're free. It's the worth the drive down from Mason.
I dable in photography a bit myself and know of a few great locations to shoot and have more that i want to get some shots in. One of them being Old Milford in the next couple of weeks with the trees blossoming.
