I'd be up for a meet and cruise/ cookout thingy. I'm free Saturday or Sunday this weekend.
And for those of you who worry about doing autocross because you are stock and don't have race tires, don't worry!! I ran my first 2 seasons in a stock 8 with 4 year old factory Potenzas (hard as bricks). You don't need to worry about tread wear on your tires if you want to just come out for 1 or 2 events, you won't be driving hard enough or long enough for it to really impact the life of your tires. Besides it's a ton of fun and there are a lot of cool people and cars and I guarantee you will learn a lot about yourself as a driver and about your car. /end spiel/

Sounds like a good plan tact. I'm up for it whenever, but i most likely won't be at fuel saturday. I have to help a friend move some stuff early in the morning.
Redson: since you'll probably see this, it shouldn't effect getting your **** done. I can just meet you at your parents when i'm done at my friend's and C&C is over.
Edit: I know of a nice park on the east side that we can cook out at and is surrounded by nice roads. There's actually two. One up on the hill and one bye the river. I believe both have grills. The one by the river is smaller, but less used so we'd likely have it to ourselves.

Just don't throw your back out or nothing. Also can you get Jason's brake bleeder? Or should I plan on purchasing one?
I'd be down for a meet/drive sometime as well.

1st things 1st ashley you rock! 2nd im not trying to be pushy or anything as im well aware autocross isnt for everyone (i have no idea why) but if your only worries are that youll hurt your car, tires or that your tires are not good enough trust me they are fine and you wont. to show you how sure of this i am let me extend the offer i have brought up before. dont drive your car dont worry about your tires if this is your 1st event use mine. thats right no strings attached just pay your entry fee(and thats not alot of money) and drive my car instead of yours. i dont want anything from you other than for you to have a really good time. keep in mind i can only take 1 co-driver but if i can put any worries to ease this way let me prove to you that its safe for you, your car, and your tires. also it looks like ill be going to the drag stip with a few friends this thursday if anyone wants to join.

Thanks man. I always know where to find you (usually) when I'm home. Got my flights today, leaving Tuesday morning. The ship has been trading since I left her so the time should go by quickly (only supposed to be three months).

Chief: Sounds like a better assignment than last time. Hopefully it is only 3 months. We can do a fall meet when you get back.
Everyone else:
I'm out this weekend, I have to help a friend pick up some furniture from and ex sat. morning, then I'm helping redsun break more **** on his car. Sunday i'm taking the wife to the airport and taking some pics of a couple of friends cars.
Next weekend I'll have a friend in town, but if he doesn't mind getting thrown around in the passenger seat, we can get together saturday during and after fuel like Tacti suggested. I think a grill out and drive from a park could be fun. The park i'm thinking of is east of 275 on 52 by a few miles. We'll probably have it to ourselves.
Let me know if you guys and girls are interested.

Was anyone around Rt 48 and turning north onto 22/3 around 1:05 today? Just caught a glimpse of a velocity red 8/dark wheels and a black Porsche Cayman or 911 on your tail? I was just coming into the right turn lane on 48 or I would have followed.

Fuz: Looks like the shoot went well for you. Bring you camera whenever we end up doing the meet at the park (not that you need to be told that but whatever)
Also spell my name right. It's reds"u"n not reds"o"n. It'd be greatly appreciated.

well here is how i spent my sunday. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qBp1-NnmCps not too bad but it was a little wet. i have no idea if this was my fast run but seeing as how i kept it facing the right direction id guess its one of the 2 faster ones. good times over all and id highly recommend the indy region if your ever over that way. lots of really nice people and cool cars.
