Hey Kain, congrats on the puppy!! What breed, where did you get her etc.

Sorry I have missed all the discussions over the last week, work has been busy, busy, busy. Welcome to the new guy.

I got my x-mas present already also, my snow shoes for the 8 with rims. Put them on prior to the small snow we had. They work very well by the way.

Hope you all have a great holiday seasons.
cheers

She is a Neopolitan Mastiff and I got her from a breeder in South Dakota- she has pry already doubled in size from when we first got her- she is a natural guard dog, so I am being rather strict with her- but man.......she is sure cute! if anyone knows what a adult neopolitan mastiff looks like you might realize how fitting her name is "Mona Lisa"

Just wondering, have you guys thought about hooking up with the RX7-Owners and combining into a huge rotary club out in the Husker state?

They have a website/forum, and I would guess they'd be interested in adding some die-hard RX8 fans.

We have kind of hooked up with a larger local Mazda community already -- I registered on the RX-7 board a long time ago -- doesn't seem to be much activity there. I wouldn't mind affiliating with the 7's though.

There seems to be quite a lot of drama with that larger local mazda community- Call me an *******, but I am more into a rotary than a mazda in general, I mean I like mazda's, but I am not like a protege freak or anything?

LMAO Kain -- so true -- I LOVE rotaries and like Mazdas -- I must say I have owned an MX-6 turbo and Navajo in addition two the two RX's. I would prefer a rotary club to a Mazda club.

For me, I like the informal group we have right here. From time to time, we meet up with others from other groups, or go to the car show etc, so it keeps things interesting, and we don't have to worry about officers, dues, politics etc.
Yeah, I can understand that. It's nice how active all of you are on here and I can really see how much you love your rotary vehicles.

My only thing is this year with the Revolutio we are offering club members a $10 discount. (So I was trying to put a little money back in your pocket.) And I've followed this thread where you've been thinking of being a club for a long time. I loved some of those early logos. Just because you're a club doesn't mean you have to pay dues, etc... In the MI club everyone just pitches in to bring stuff to meets when we have them (and I figure you'd do the same thing).

Good Luck, hope to see you all at the event. I love to meet rotary enthusiasts who are in love with their car and watch the look of utter glee on their face after autocrossing until they can't lift their arms to the steering wheel, lol...

My holiday weekend was pretty good, though I really didn't get any extra time off from work. Food, family, and football...what's better than that?

hey! does anyone here locally want to buy a new IPT carbon fiber engine cover>? I don't want to ship it anywhere is why I want to do it local- I got it and it looks great but the problem is it does not fit with my HKS intake box at all- will fit anything else- even fit over my fat carbon fiber strut bar- just not up front with my intake- will sell for half of what I got it for- it is a beautiful piece and I just don't want to have it go to waste sitting around here

single exhaust conversion

What do you all think of a single exhaust conversion? I'm in the process of getting my JIC Titanium exhaust custom 3.15 inch piping mandrel bent for my greddy turbo kit!? It'll come out at an angle on the left rear. I just love the look of it, it looks so cocky in my opinion. JIC Rx8 has this done as well!? what do you guys all think?!

in advance

I know it's a bit early, but last time i met up with just Kain and went to a car show with him. What do you guys think of setting up a car meet up again with a few more people, lol? Sooner or later doesn't matter to me, I run my own business so my schedule is flexible. Let me know what works for you guys. I was thinking maybe the 19th or 20th of february after valentine's day weekend? What works for you guys, haven't seen much of you guys lately, been busy getting my website up and business running. My car has it's winter gear on, but it's still good to see others out and about to see what their plans are.

hope all are good

RXHusker, you thinking about maybe a turbo these days instead of a supercharger>?>?>?

Brent, hope your lincoln job is going well and hope the commute is not killing you too much
