beatty, the rx8store is in hillard off of roberts road. i would like to get a group of us together again real soon to go do some dyno work. kellybrf and i were over there a couple of sat. ago but there was already some guys doing dyno work and we weren't able to get in until it was too late and we had to take off.

Hey guys, I just signed up to this forum. I must say, I currently don't own an RX-8 (I drive a 2002 Protege5), but I would love to meet up with you guys, just to see your cars and such. I'm a huge RX-8 fan, and would love to own one, but being 16, it's not really an option.

So if you guys have a meeting, I would love to go, just to look at your 8's. I live in Centerville, OH (a suburb of dayton), by the way.

Damn that's a small world. I graduated in 95 from Carroll. Is MR. Sperll (SP?) still the gym teacher? Is MRs Peterson still teaching art? She was a great ap art teacher.

I wish I had an RX-8. I own a 2002 Mazda Protege5, and doubt I'll have the money for an RX-8 anytime soon, but I'm a huge fan. It's basically my dream car.

Mr. sperll left man! 02-03 year was his last year. But yeah Mrs.Peterson is still the art teacher i have her right now. Tomorrow is our exam in there so it will be the last time in that class. Pretty crazy!

Heh. No. The way I look at it, I bought it because I thought it was the best looking economy car in my price range, and probably one of the more fun ones to drive. It's an economy car, not a sports car, so why should I try and kid myself into thinking it is. With the money that could go into a custom turbo and such, I might as well have gotten a faster car to begin with.

Until I have the money to buy a sports car, I'm not going to kid myself, and I'll live with my practical, good looking economy car.

alright i was just wondering. i had a focus before this and yeah it is an economy car but with side skirts a rear bumper and some rims it is a pretty bad *** economy car! lol
