Blended Fuel MN vs Iowa?
Yesterday I took a drive down to Des Moines.. got <18 MPG on the way down and >22 MPG on the way home!
The only difference as far as I can tell was the fuel. I believe in MN, we use a blended fuel of Ethanol. Does Iowa?
Speaking of which, does anyone know if you can buy non-blended fuel in MN?

On the way down I was at about 4k RPM in 6th most of the way.. (with the occasional down shift/sprint)
On the way back I screwed up for about 20 miles and was sitting at about 5k in 5th.. then went back to 4k in 6th. (And I umm.. was a bit more spirited at times on the way back)..
It's possible it was my driving, or driving condition changes.. but 4+ MPG seems more to do with the fuel to me. I remember reading other reports here that ethanol fuel got worse milage for others.. so I'm curious if the same happened here.

Just found this:
http://www.mda.state.mn.us/ethanol/about.htm
