Sorry Guys but the wife just told me that she doesn't want to spend 2 hours in a car. I guess I'm out, now that she is pregnant we need to keep drives down to 15 min. Hopefully this morning sickness will be over soon.

That may be true. It's just that we have 75+ people on the email list with RX8's and so few show up for our premiere event of the year. Maybe by having only one meet per month, we are not as tight a group as we were 2 yrs ago when we were meeting almost every week and every one was setting up meets whenever they found a good place. I still have cards from Gameworks and D&B with time on them.

I agree with that as well, I think we should also have more cruises and types of events where we get to show off our cars as well. Maybe like what JGTCA does, meet up at a certain spot, then cruise to where our meet will be, have dinner, do whatever, then after that go cruising on a predetermined route and then call it a night. Or maybe even combine with another rival car club like chicagoz or subaru club to have some cruise nights or shows or just plain hangout. Most of them that I have met seem pretty cool, I mean don't get me wrong, there will always be the "holier than thou" attitude with some of those people in those kind of clubs, but I think that is just the nature of the beast when it comes to sports cars.

I was suggesting meeting with JGTCA at one of their meets then cruising down to our monthly meet.

Sorry, my post was never meant to rub salt in the wound. I thought everyone understood why I didn't plan this year's BBQ. I told the powers that be months ago that I would be unable to take on this task because added responsibility following my dad's death did not allow me to plan something of this magnitude.
I deleted the post because I have no desire to come off preachy. My apologies if I offended anyone.

Check the Chicago Meets thread...I set up a new one. If you guys want to do the cruise with JGTCA just add to it or change the time as needed...I just registered for that site but I don't know what time their cruises are.
I know a lot of people aren't fond of gameworks, but maybe this will get the ball rolling on people calling more meets again.

I have been to 2 JGTCA meets this year so far, and I can say it was a good time, and it kind of seemed like alot of their kiddies had dropped off and it was mostly mature laid back people.

Some pictures, of the cars, have been put up by RC3 member TpCpLaYa. He only got pictures of one RX8.
