I went and looked at a 2006 Subaru Legacy GT Limited, it had a Prodrive Exhaust, a very short throw shifter + Momo **** and a K&N Intake kit thing. It has 17K miles and was at a dealer.
It did drive around fine, no noticeable annoyances or obvious racing going on except that the shifter was very notchy. Tires looked like a good amount of life left.
What are the chances the PO raced it around?

Had my car towed this AM to the dealer...wouldn't start today - tried all the regular simple de-flooding tips, jumped the battery - nada. I know all the next steps of removing the plugs, etc., but simply don't have the time (or the right tools) - hopefully it'll be resolved with removal/drying of the plugs. (which would be $90 in labor only) I think my battery is still good - the only variable is condition of the plugs...if this had only happened last week when I could have spent the time to try it myself...what's frustrating is I have religiously waited for engine to hit operating temp over the past 3 years of ownership, and the last time it was driven (Xmas eve) I had it out for 35 minutes, and it had been at regular temps for 25 minutes at least, plus I rev'd to 4.5k before shutdown...

Hey Nick - it's at Anderson - I know the service manager over there - I didn't think to call you - just one of those things with this short week, I knew I HAD to get this resolved quickly...hopefully it won't cost me too much - he estimated around $90 for labor...we'll see...

You know, it's one of those things, I really wish I had more experience working on cars - I'm sure many people (my brother-in-law for example - out of state, tho) could take care of this sort of thing easily, but for me, it'd be a much bigger deal...I just don't have much experience with this sort of thing...The thing that sucks is I still have to buy summer tires sometime soon (before spring) and this is just a bit of a punch in the stomach I wasn't planning on...I will try and give you a call next time (hopefully there won't be one)
