That was my previous daily driver for 8 yrs. It seemed like good idea at the time.

Excellent, I guess RSD got the idea for this from the Lounge in the Aus Forum. I was peeking in the door a couple of hours ago.

 

It's gotten a bit feral down there lately....there's a lot of leg-humping going on.

Shady is the name of the game at Autobarn. I was having trouble with the service deparment in my area (they damaged one of my new wheels, which hadn't been on the car for more than 4 days) so I took my car to Autobarn because the rx8group guy said they were great. I brought my car in a couple of times for oil changes and warantee work and was completely satisfied. The last time I took the car in for the gas tank recall and they washed the car. Because my car was damaged at the other dealer I make the service rep walk around the car and fill in his diagram where ever he sees damage, kinda like the rental car companies. When we did this the wheels were all fine. When I came back to pick the car up I noticed that one of the wheels was scratched all to hell (19" volk gt-c's) I confronted the the service advisor and he tells me he didn't look that close at the wheels. I told him it must have gotten scratched by ine of the detailers. At this point he became very defensive and a bit rude . He then shows me the detail area and I see wet wash mits laying on the ground, apparently the same ones they use to wash wheels. He then tells me that the filthy wash mits could not cause damage and hints that I am problem customer and that he will have to take pictures of my car when I come in from then on. Long story short, I received their standard evaluate us e-mail afterwards and replyed with my story. Typically I would receive a MNOA E-mail following theirs but this time I didn't . Apparently they only tell mazda someone has gotten serviced at their delership if they have something good to say. Oh, and they never got back to me either on my complaint. Sorry for the long post but I had to share my experience at Autobarn. I think Al has got a good story about them too.

 

I think it's that building. It's cursed. Currie Motors Chrysler/Plymouth used to be in there and they were one of the worst around.
