I was there last year...good time. I think I bought the 3 days pass, forgot how much that was, but it was a better deal and we got to go to 3 different parks. Which park are you going?

I allways by 5 day passes. The unused portions are good for ever. I have 3 passes with 2 days left on them that I paid $30/day for. I think the last time I was there was about 10 yrs ago.

I think there's a time limit on the pass now...but that was a year ago, I don't even remember what happened this morning. Oh wait, it's not even 9:30.

Just pay the $60. You wouldn't want her to b*tch about your $230 track day now, would you?

Thanks Allen! I'm still swaying from sailing ... it's really odd!!!

Sending all the new peeps an invite to join EVOLV-Chicago! Will send out a meet reminder today also for those who play armchair car meet.

ok, I'll admit, I have no idea what armchair car meet is. It was a lame reference to armchair football, but it made me LOL at the visual so I left it in hopes someone else will be as warped as I am and think it was funny!

Your right, we actually decided to do the whole swimming with the dolphines thing at discovery cove. For $179 you get 30 min. with the dolphines , 30 min with sea rays, and a bunch of other in water activities and admission to both sea world and bush gardens.

^ Yea, I was just typing up a meet announcement for the Autobahn thing. Only thing that sucks is the mandatory $10 track fee for spectators. I've "spectated" there before and there isn't much to see if you're not on track. Bastids.

Next time I go, I'm going to learn to surf at the wave pool. I don't remember with one it was. Maybe, Shipwreck Lagoon.

It's probably due to insurance. Much of the track expense is.

Red, there is a Woot-Off in progress. They had a Roomba yesterday. If you weren't available for that one, it may return.

I agree. I went in there on my second trip there. I won't go back in. My wife and son tried to drag me in. Wouldn't do it.

Yea but everyone in that thread pretty much said it sucked (and not in the good vacuum cleaner kind of way) so unless it was $50 I'd probably pass. But I'll check it out just in case I have a lapse of judgment

So you'all on a cruise? How was it? Sherrie has been trying to talk me into going and I just don't see myself on a cruiseship. I'm more of a do'er. I used to have a 36' boat over on the big puddle to the left of here.

nah, no cruise for us. We went on a 50' catamaran that was captained by a friend of the family. Ol' Blue here has become an old salt! Ask him about tacking, port, starboard, dinghys, jibs, mainsails, mooring *****, cleats, etc.

I suppose it doesn't surprise you that I was the "communicator" between captain and crew, eh?

allen, I've been on a few cruises ... honestly they bore the snot out of me. Ever looked into a windjammer trip? My dad always talked about doing that. windjammer.com

What is a Palestinian Vacuum? Is there a Vacuum that isn't powered? Why don't they empty the bag?

You just have to mention it...now it's coming back into my head!!

My wife wanted to swin with dolphine, but we didn't have enough time on that trip. Take the test track ride at Epcot, I think you'll enjoy it.

Anyone know how of any good shops that install aftermarket parts?

Took my old Taurus to the Best Buy in Matteson to remove the IHF-1000. I asked if they could put it in my 8 that is 2 weeks old. They asked me to leave the key there. Without modifying anything, they managed to trigger the immobilizer.
