Ok...these potholes are WAY out of hand - I know they're bad everywhere, (I've driven all thru the western burbs in the past few weeks), but they are INSANE in the Rockford area - we have one main road that has over 2500 potholes in a 1 mile stretch and half of the road has been closed down. I don't think people realize just how big of a deal this is...you could have every road crew known to man out 24/7 and not get through half of the potholes in Northern IL this year - many areas will require complete resurfacing, not just patching - I plan my routes now based on pothole avoidance rather than shortest distance. I was on 52 in Joliet and hit a spot where I was going under 5mph to get across a bad section. Unbelieveable.

Totally agree. This year is really bad. There are multiple spots up by me, but in particular the last exit on 53 to Lake Cook...The stretch leading up to it I used to just have to hang on the left line of the lane...now the potholes go all the way across. I hate slowing down at that point.

HAHAHAHA me use a mac...that's a good one.
(although I confess I have thought about buying one from time to time)
Some times, such as when pictures are posted, the thread will become wider so one will need to scroll sideways to view everything. This has happened in multiple pages of this thread with no pictures being the direct cause. Sources have therefore concluded that it is someone's signature that is causing this issue. We are currently hunting down said person.

So I have noticed something very annoying with cell phones. You can do so much to try to save the battery, such as turn off backlighting, change display settings, etc. But when the battery is about to die, If the phone is not in use rather than conserving energy, the phone insists on notifying you every twenty seconds for 10 minutes that it is about to die by lighting up, flashing, making a sound, etc. Yet if it is about to die while in a conversation, it will notify you with a beep once, maybe twice, and then it's gone.
WTF is wrong with programmers these days?
Thanks for letting me rant...
2 minutes left at work!

Hahaha, I got banned from Arlington Heights Roto Mazda. Why you ask? Because I complained so much and called the corp. for how shitty their services are, how they mistreat customers, and how they don't know what they are doing. Haha

Quick question. When I rev up at idle to 3k rpm, as the engine rpm falls, the engine makes a odd noise (metallic?)I have been experiancing misfires, I got the code checked at autozone and the code is 0302 leading spark plug rear rotor. I think its bad or failed completely. I ordered a new set of plugs. I was just wondering if that noise is do to the failed spark plug?. The noise does come out from the rear rotor housing. I have not yet put the new plugs in.

Racing School April 4-5
I just wanted to let the other Chicagoland people know that there is an Autocross racing school in Joliet at Rt. 66 raceway. It is a great way to learn how to autocross. here is the link: http://www.scca-chicago.com/solo/2008/learncurve.html
FYI, here is another club that I race with http://www.tsscc.org/
You can get in 16 races locally. PM me with any questions.
