Hey did anyone remove the rear bumper by themselves, I know how to take it off the long way, my question is do I have to take off the rear lights and interior trunk trim????

I have . You'll have to unhook the light swith hook up , which you'll just have to turn clockwise. It will snap right off . At that point you should be able to pulled your rear light out. So yes the light come out. The trunk lining you'll only have to take the bottom part off from the clips to get to a couple of screws in there. Don't need to take the whole lining off.

What are you doing ?

You'll also have to remove some screws and clips from inside the fender wheel liner.

I have to put on my plate sticker, but it seems that the tabs the screw screw into for the license plate spin with the screw so it wont loosin, oh yea and because I have a plate cover on lol. So I guess the only thing to do is take off the bumper to get the plate off...

well if you know what to do with the rear flares then we can do that. i just dont want to mess my car by doing something wrong

We'll be staying in NW burbs (Schaumburg area) and the West Side of Chicago (Belmont/Narraganset)... but will be also going to Romeoville, Chinatown, Downtown... etc. So... pretty much the Metro area and surrounding 'burbs

Nothing like 4 Seasons... but maybe Signature Room caliber? i'm more concerned w/ the quality/taste of food rather than ambience and "fu-fu" stuff.

I have a couple of great places I can recommend.

Gejas Cafe - The best food on the planet. It's a fondue place, semi-annual-visit pricerange. The cheese fondue is a blend of Swiss and Gruyere cheese with white wine, cherry brandy, and a touch of garlic. Served with dense, delicious sourdough bread, pumpernickel, and grapes.

Next comes the main course, a choice of Scallops, Shrimp, Chicken, or Beef tenderloin is served raw on a platter alongside fresh vegetables including perfect potatoes, uncooked onion rings, and broccoli atop a massive lettuce leaf that spans the whole 20" platter. You are given long forks and a pot of oil atop a fire in which to cook the chunks of food to your liking. After the food is cooked in the oil, piece by piece or all at once (your choice) you have small cups of eight delicious, savory dipping sauces including dill, curry, butter, BBQ, Teriyaki, Aiyoli, and horseradish. There are more but I can't recall them right now. My personal favorite must be specially requested - ask for the honey-mustard sauce, and try it on a piece of medium-rare beef...It's so good I can't think of a strong enough adjective, and I'm really really good at coming up with strong adjectives.

Finally chocolate fondue finishes a flawless meal. Sprinkled with brandy on the top it is set alight and you can cook marshmallows atop it, than dip them in the bubbling chocolate below. Served with pineapple, strawberries, and dense pound cake.

The setting is also excellent, booths or tables in low light with candles, walls lined with rare bottles of wine...quiet, with live Spanish guitar on weekends I believe.

I personally recommend the white bread in the cheese fondue, the beef with honey mustard, teriyaki, and bbq sauce, and the pound cake in the chocolate.

The best food out there. If I had all the money in the world I would eat there every night.

My second recommendation is a place called Heaven on Seven. Situated below a movie theater, it's placement is perfect. It's an averagely priced dinner, once a month-ish.

Enter the restaurant and you will be greeted with a tsunami of Mardi Gras spirit and festive atmosphere. The genuinely nice staff will greet you and show you to a perfect table. Take a look to your left and you will see only one thing: Hot sauce. An entire wall filled with hot sauces, the owner's personal collection (they will trade you lunch for two for a hot sauce not on the wall). Festive decorations line the walls converging upon a giant statue of a theater mask holding beads.

Ask to be seated in Paulie's section. He's an awesome waiter. I can go in and just ask for the "usual", and he'll know what I'm talking about...which makes me feel kinda cool...but anyways...

The appetizer is a choice of soup, salad, or gumbo. Try the gumbo, coming in cups or bowls, it is delicious, very savory, perfectly portioned. The salad is great, try the creole mustard sauce and the mushroom soup is my personal favorite.

I love the main course because you simply can't go wrong. I'm partial to the beef tenderloin tips, done medium, with extra sauce. They manage to make a savory, tangy but still unbelievably good sauce. But don't be afraid of the surf-and-turf or the chicken po' boy either, they are both awesome.

I'd tell you about dessert but I never have room for it, but the key lime pie looked good.

The final place I can recommend is called the Fogo De Chao. This is a Brazilian Steakhouse with a unique style. Once-a-year price range. You will need a reservation.

Just the entrance is astounding. Walk in and on either side of you there are fires below giant, 200oz steaks dripping and sizzling over the fires. Move on to the front desk which is situated near a black wall and waterfall onto Neguchi-style rocks. The businesslike staff will show you to your table...and...

On your way you will notice the world's most massive salad bar. It has everything, correctly and simply labeled, from generic lettuce to exotic artichoke hearts in lemon-butter sauce, bacon, and of course croutons. Everything. Don't get too full though.

After your salad you will receive a plate and a small cardboard button, green on one side, red on the other. It will be given to you red-side-up. You will notice chefs walking around with giant meats on steaks and large knives. Watch as when you move your hand towards the cardboard button...you might notice that as your hand gets closer, chefs with meats edge closer, and smile bigger. Flip it and you will immediately have ten chefs at your table offering you twenty different kinds of meat, including top and bottom sirloins, fillet mignon, the house specialty rump roast and my personal favorite, garlic steak. You will also see pork, smoked ribs, and some exotic stuff including fillet wrapped in bacon and even steamed pineapple. Some things need a little salt and pepper, but other than that you can specify what temperature you want your meat because each is cooked on one side longer than another.

Dessert is incredible, they will bring over a cart full over perfect desserts...if you notice one that looks like a chocolate dome, get it, it's passion fruit ice cream under hard chocolate and strawberries.

Check out Devon Seafood Grill on E. Chicago downtown near Michigan Ave. - Very good food, great service, nice atmosphere. I grew up on the east coast, and this place was one of the best midwest seafood experiences I've had.

well this is mainly toward Adamrotor but everyone else too.. i just got my rx8 back from the body shop. i went ahead and got the lip kit installed. only for 200 bucks which isnt bad i dont think.. tell me what you think
