Actually, it is often referred to as the man cave.

Must not be too terrible - when Kyle has crashed here we can't get him to use the spare bedroom; he always wants to stay down in the basement...

Also, the old saying "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than permission" can be good advice for a married man as well, you just have to use it sparingly and carefully.

I just used that one when I bought a different radar detector on Ebay. I wasn't scorched to bad.

Bill Cosby also has a routine where he talks about how he came home one day and his wife had set him up in a little room off in the corner of the house with a TV and recliner. He said he already had that in the living room. They went back and forth awhile, and finally she told him "because you're in the way".

He also talks about the art of screwing things up that she asks you to do that you don't want to do so that you don't have to do it again.

This has nothing to do with the topic at hand, but I love this video: http://youtube.com/watch?v=x0S5zS8jSE4

Of course maybe it does. Maybe this is what Charles will be like after a few years of marriage when he finally has the courage to tell her he doesn't like something she's just cooked.

For Red & Blue

A few things to think about for your future.

I love being married. It's so great to find that one special person you want to annoy for the rest of your life.
Rita Rudner
My toughest fight was with my first wife.
Muhammad Ali (1942 - )
We were happily married for eight months. Unfortunately, we were married for four and a half years.
Nick Faldo
Always get married early in the morning. That way, if it doesn't work out, you haven't wasted a whole day.
Mickey Rooney (1920 - )
Marriage is a great institution, but I'm not ready for an institution yet.
Mae West (1892 - 1980)
Man's best possession is a sympathetic wife.
Euripides (484 BC - 406 BC), Antigone
Never say that marriage has more of joy than pain.
Euripides (484 BC - 406 BC), Alcestis, 438 B.C.
One man's folly is another man's wife.

Holy crap you all make getting married sound awful!

That "advice" sounds depressing as hell!!! Well except for the I'm always right part, that part was just good, sound advice

Not sure where the cruise is. If it is north of the city, then I can either offer you a room at my house or get you a cheap room at the Navy Lodge. Both the house and the Lodge are just off the base in great lakes, so if the cruise is north of the city it would be convenient. PM Me if you are interested.

Soo.. doesn't look like I'll be going to any meets anytime soon. But, I did figure out that an RX-8 is a safe car. =D Hit a deer going 85mph and not a scratch on me. My lovely car however.. still waiting to hear what the damage is. =(

Sorry to hear that. Damage can vary when hitting deer. I had a friend that hit one. Killed the deer. The only damage it did to his car was a broken radio antenna. I've also head stories of live deer going through the windshield and kicking the passengers in the head as it's trying to get away.
Glad your still around.

Yeah I know. Thing could have been mid jump and went through my windshield or someone behind me and smashing the back end too. The deer died, was preggo too so ugh.. more weight. I'm hoping it's not too bad damage wise but it looked so bad my heart broke after I squeezed out of it. Most of the damage was on the front drivers side, almost had an elvis sorta lip to it. Hopefully nothing extremely important over there. Plus both airbags went off so that's going to up the price meters in itself. Cross fingers for me that it's not totalled. >.<

Wow, so glad to hear you're ok!!! Hoping your baby isn't totalled and she can be fixed up and drivable soon!

PS: rotary cars are not required for coming to meets ... so we'd still like you to come out!

Keep us posted on the damage ... and again, glad you are ok!!!!

Good luck with the car, just to let you know as soon as the body shop and insurance adjuster saw the front bags were blown on my car they just made up what they needed to total the car out, didn't even do a real assessment.

Glad you made it out OK, Jinks! As much as we hate to see our cars hurt, it functioned as it was designed to - it sacrificied itself for you.

Maybe do the t-shirt in some different colors, like grey. Maybe some 3/4 length tshirts like that zoom-zoom one that i have two of

Also, some hats would be good.
