EVOLV-Chicago's Online Store

Please feel free to post all thoughts/suggestions/etc here
Here is my suggestion...

We only release the items one at a time with a week or two in between, this way everytime there is something new people will think "OH that's cool, I have to have it!" and not realize how much they are actually buying.

Heh, and then they all send me nasty PMs saying "well, I bought this one, but I really want that one, so how do I return it?"

The nice thing about this store is that they handle everything! You can pay with a credit card, they accept returns, etc.

I'm hoping to eventually have most shirts / hats / stickers available. If there are odd items you'd like to see, just let me know. I wasn't going to put up the baby clothes or dog bowls, but if someone wants 'em I'll put 'em up there!

They even have a thong ....

Note to all: I have no control over the store other than setting up the images for them to print Any problems/issues/etc please contact cafepress.com.

* Note: all refunds will be made directly from Aero8's bank account, so get in there while there's still some good cash!

Did you get it running better? Was your tuner finally able to connect to the Interceptor-X?

Actually, we tried 3 different laptops and none would work. We couldnt figure it out, so I went home and played with my laptop and finally thanks to a member on this forum pointed me in teh right direction and voila. I'm bringing the car and my laptop to the shop this afternoon and then they'll tune and dyno it friday.

If there was that much damage to the car, it's probably for the best.

Where is the car at? Was the engine damaged? Is it a 4 port or 6 port? I might be looking to pick up a backup to build.

No offense Al, but I have to disagree. After tearing apart my car and seeing the lack of structural damage and how easily the insurance company just brushed it off as a total loss coupled with relative ease with which all the frame shops can put it back together I wouldn't be worried getting in her car and rebuilding it and I haven't even seen it.

Like I said before it seems like they are totaling cars out if the bags go off. Sure, they are expensive to replace at dealer price rates but it doesn't mean the car is hosed.

I was trying to look at it through her eyes, not yours. I felt that she wouldn't want to go through the hassle of trying to put that car back together.

I don't really want to go through the hassle of it either, but no turning back now that I'm *** deep in it.

I just really think insurance company's shouldn't declare it a total loss so quickly/easily. Without the front airbags a shop should have been able to put my car back together for ~$6-8,000 and still made money. I could have supplied airbags to them for another $500 out of pocket. For them <the insurance adjuster> to have written up a $15,000 quote and never have even popped the hood was utterly rediculous, IMO.

The car is at a body shop right now. State Farm is going to pick it up sometime soon. Then put it on auction. I don't think the engine was damaged cause the guys at the shop said it turned on but I don't know what exactly they mean by that. The inside looked a little squished but nothing too bad. Um, it was an auto 4 speed, if that's what you mean by port. Heh. I have pictures if you're interested in seeing them and getting any info I can get out of State Farm about the auction for it. Just PM me if you do.

As for a car, I found a nice '05 shinka and ended up buying it with the money from the insurance company with some left over.

Yeah it is. Never driven a manual before, tho I get the concept of it. Wouldn't want to be stuck with it if I ended up not liking it. Auto I can be lazy or shift it, even with paddle shifters. Which works for me.
