What's up guys . I mention before that I could'nt make it to some of meets because I've been taking care of my mother , she is terminally ill .

Anyways the reason I 'm bringing this up is because she has a bird , its a Cockatoo,{ Umbrella} she's had him for like 3 years. Well 2/half he's 3 now. She want to give the bird away . I'm currently taking care of him now . He's in great health , talks and love to move around in his cage.

If anybody is intersted let me know . If your not sure about this birds do some searching to get to know how they are. They like , alot of attention. It's like having a 3 year old.

If you know of a place I could take him that would take good care of him , let me know, I would appreciate it .

PM me if your really interested. Or have any other ideas ...................

Thanks.

Anyone know a TiGray owner from the houston area named Omar who is now up in chicago? My mom says he's been parked on Sangamon and Halsted for a while and has an absolute TON of parking tickets on his car.

I got the owner's name and where the car came from based on the license plate my mom gave me.

Ajax : Halsted and Sangamon run the same way , north , south so it won't be park in that corner. You'll need to give a street that would run East , West to make a connection. Let us know .................

OEM accessory seat covers for sale

$100 and they're yours. SAVE $40! Local sale preferably. During the week I work near O'hare and leave about 5ish pm (except for Fridays at 2pm). Im in the Great Lakes area on the weekends. I live in Gurnee and get in the area after 630pm.

Installed them last night hoping to get rid of the back sweat problem since I have the Shinka sand leather seats.

The back sweat was minimized, but now my legs seem to sweat more (that or i never noticed my leg sweat until today).

It's the perfect solution for those who like to eat in the car, or if you want to save your side bolsters from excessive wear from ingress/egress. They look good, obviously since they are OEM. They just didn't perform the way I expected.

No one who has registered for EVOLV-Chicago matches that description.

Ah Emilio I'm so sorry to hear about your mom being sick. I wish I had a solution to your mom's bird's living situation, but my greyhound would probably see him as lunch. I will ask around and see if anyone would like a bird ... I hear they live a long time, so it's a real commitment.

You know, I didn't even think about that.
I just repeated what my mom said and she lives there.
She lives on sangamon near 14th place so that may be what she meant, or 14th place and halsted, but somewhere in that area.

i think this is the same dvd that came with my car. maybe they're just making owners more aware of the uniqueness of the 8.

or it's for owners who refuse to read the drivers manual.

Car in the shop again. 1/4 mile from the house it started bucking. About a mile down the road it wouldn't run any longer. Rental car is a CX7. Warrenty runs out in 20 days.

So any soccer fans in here? I saw that Brian McBride (fabled US forward who has played in England for Fulham in recent years) is wanting to return to MLS. He is a chicago native so the Fire should be trying to snag him... any opinions??

Mspeedpro - yeah it would be cool to have him on the fire. but the money is much better over seas in england. so that might have a factor in what he does.. unless he has some good endorcment deals. (sorry i dont know how to spell that) ... if Brian McBride does go to the fire. i will be going to alot of the games.
what do you think of brian McBride coming to the fire and stuff?

Odd thing happened... last time I was able to come back home (Im down in the south for work for most of the summer), my 8 would not start up. Unfortunately I noticed this about 5 minutes after the dealer closed, so I tried cranking it w/WOT, w/o WOT etc for about 30 min, then it finally started up.

Im usually pretty good about letting the car idle for a minute before shutting it off when i drive, so Im not too sure how this would've happened. Any ideas?

Update: Water and Crud in the fuel. Fuel system will need to be flushed and possibly fuel pump replaced. Cost of up to $1000. Is the price of fuel causing people to not use premium and the stuff is sitting in the tanks?

How did you manage to get water in the tank? I have run mid-grade and regular unleaded, and have not had any problems at all. If I am heading to the track I will fill up with premium, but midgrade works out the best for regular driving.

I figure that people are using lower grade gas to save money and this stuff accumulated at a gas stations little used (premium) tank.
