Chicago Mazda6club meet 10-9
We are going to meet at the Streets of Woodfield in front of the Dicks Sporting Goods at 1:00pm that Sunday (10-9-05). The plan is to meet up for some pics then go eat and hopefully catch the game.

Schaumburg, IL 60173
A couple of us will probably meet at the Hindsdale Oasis on the Northbound side of 294 at 12:00pm, and drive there together.

If I'm in town, I might be down for it. I'm guessing this is for the Bear's game? Maybe we could get a screen with the Jaguars or Dolphins, that would help seal the deal with me.

Nobody has their heart set on any particular team. I am from Detroit so I like to watch the Lions play... I know Iknow... Hey you gotta support your home team right? Anyway, I don't care who is playing, as long as there is some football on. If you guys have any suggestions on where to catch a game please let me know, for I am not familiar with that area and nobody on the 6site really knows of any good sportsbars in the area.
We are really hoping for a good turnout, so let me know if I should add you to the list!

I live downtown, so I'm not familiar with Woodfield, or any of the suburbs for that matter. But I saw on the 6 forum Gameworks and Hooters mentioned...I really don't care as long as we can watch some games and park without getting harrassed.
I think you can put me down on your list. Always good to meet fellow Mazda enthusiasts.

Went to the meet over the weekend. The Mazda6 guys were a good group - even if they do drive boingers. Also a few protege and one miata owner that also seemed cool.
Anyway, I mentioned they should think about coming out to our 8 meets if they like.
One guy had a turbo'd 6, and I'd be interesting in seeing more of that once he gets some of the bugs worked out of it. They were telling me they've seen ~230whp Mazda6's. Not sure what that would equivalate to or how the car would handle having to deal with possible torque steer/wheel hop/lack of lsd.
