Hehe don't complain about Ohio registration..........I just moved from Ohio to Kentucky and KY charges you property tax every year in the form of registration. Vanity plates for my car will be like $300/yr!!!!!

I am out for anything this weekend.....driving up to Chicago!

the talib kweli/common concert was friggin great.

this sunday there will be some really sic people at the autocross at the ford plant in sharonville. if you can make it you should come especially for the last heat (fastest/most modified cars). the first car is usually on the track by 11am and it lasts until 5-6pm depending on how well everyone is running. i recomed checking it out. i'll just be spectating this one since i've gotta make a long trip monday. if you make it out, i'll be wearing my "no pistons" t-shirt, so if you see me say hi.

I was going to go to that concert but never really made it. Too busy playing cornhole and drinking beers and forgot all about it. How long did they play for?

I saw a blue 8 driving up and down Clifton ave like 5 times around 730-830.

All is well here. I will check my car in the morning. Just really bad thunder and just strong winds and rain. Didnt really hear any hail. But then again I was watching a movie...The Interpretor. With Nicole Kidman. Good movie....but long.

Hope everyone has a good holiday weekend. Watch out for the fuzz. Heard there will be tons out on the roads, more than normal on holiday weekends. So Have a good one and drive safe, suppose to be gorgeous in cincy all weekend!

Let me know when everyone is free. Maybe we can get a meet at Ault Park or Eden Park.

Just curious, I want to do suspension and flywheel/clutch installation. Anyone have a recommendation for a shop or shops in Cincy?

was anybody at the blue note tonight? I just left there and there was a blue and a white along with my red parked on the same block. I'm guessing that the white was a girls car, since it had flowers hanging from the rearview.

Beautiful 8 Vermilion. I also live in Hyde Park. Off of Madison by Oakley Square behind Habits. Awesome setting in Ault Park. I drive a black 8 with fender strakes and clear corners. Going today to the parents house to wash and wax since there will be family in town from Cleveland and I want to show it off!

Nice spot, wish I still lived that close to Dewey's (used to live in Clifton). My new place is on the corner of Edwards and Observatory, so I've got other good eats close by

My 8 is an '04 6MT Grand Touring. It's stock, but I'm thinking of taking it to Jason/RX8 Store in Columbus for clutch/flywheel and exhaust mods. And yeah, the pics at the park did turn out nicely, you can actually see the color. Most people assume mine is black unless they see it in direct sunlight. I think I may actually have the only nordic green in Cincinnati; a guy up at Kings Mazda told me they've never had another one in for service or even on their lot before.

That's cool. They probably get them in up at Kings as well, and the guy I talked to just assumes they're black

just got back from my week in illinois yesterday.

moete87, that was my blue 8 going up and down looking for a parking spot. i'd never had to go to anything at uc before so i had a bit of trouble trying to find a spot. common and kweli played for about 2 1/2 hours. some girls started fighting in the middle of kweli's set and he stopped the music and scolded them in front of everyone (to one hell of an ovation). other than that the show was great.

kevin, everything's cool down here. just trying to save some money for my rims.

magic8 & vermilion, i think king's mazda is the place to go for your mods. the rx7 people seem to highly recommend one of the mechanics down there. nice green 8 btw.

now that i'm back from my mini vacation i'd down for a meet just about anytime, though i am kind of broke right now.

18bs, i'll see you at the next autox. hope to see some more of you guys show up for an event as well.

Welcome.

I really want that bronze set of Volk rims with some Pirelli pzero tires mounted to them, but that's a little pricey. I'll have to see how much money I can save up this month before i decide what i'll get for sure. If I don't get the Volks I'll probably get some black rims and stickier tires.

HIN=Hot Import Nights. It'll be in Indi on the 17th. I've already got the day off work and it's the day after payday, so I'm thinking of going.
