RC3 MEET | Fri Oct. 12th | Hooter (Schaumburg) 9pm
posted by Ranchan02 on Chicago Rotary
Hey Everyone:
I want to get as much time w/ the FD before I put it away for the season, so I wanted to see if anyone wanna meet up this Friday (Oct 12) at Hooters. I know its short notice, but I'm hoping for a good turnout for this non scheduled meet. Here's the info:
Hooters of Schaumburg
1705 East Golf Road
Schaumburg, IL 60173
Meet at 9pm
Hope to see everyone there!

I was gonna sell when my clutch went out, then instead I just refinanced and its helping out alot. Then after my clutch went out, the dealer did something that messed up the tranny so it took them a month to rebuild it, then I just got it back and my engine is crapping out. I got it back with the 02 sensor in the cat hand tighetned, and the air tube to the intake halfway off. And on top of that, the tranny doesn't feel right at all. So since I haven't really been able to drive my car since the beginning of July, I am holding out until it gets colder to bring it in. Don't bring any rotary to Schaumburg Mazda, they are beaurocratic ********. It took me going in there every single day for 3 weeks for them to finally get the tranny fixed, and I think they played with the 02 sensors to mess with me. And now my engine has gotten progressively worse, but its still drivable, I don't have any stalling issues or anything like that, just loss of power, different engine tone, and its running hot as hell.

I'd call Mazda anyway and then take it to Wilkins Mazda in Villa Park. Make sure your service writer is Chris or Dan NOT Esa. He'll tell you you just need fuel injection treatment.

Winter treads
Looking to get a hold of some winter tires and wheels 18's or 17's if possible before the nasty stuff shows up. Anybody who knows anyone would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks Folks,

Thanks for the help folks. I'm new to the whole winter tire deal, so I'm really fishing for info. Has anyone tried to brave it through the winter without them. Tell me your horror story, to better convince myself
