Anyone looking for a Skippy Holiday
Our club gets a discount for Skip Barber schools. If you are interested, let me know and I'll forward the email to you with links (can't get them to work here so I just uploaded a screen capture).

WoW! The driving school discount is great news! Too bad, I am using all my money on fixing up my 8. But I will probably attend one in the years to come. Anyway... I wanna know are people coming to the Mini Meet tonight? I'll try to get a big plate of wings ready for whoever shows up. Remember walk in and we'll be on the right. Minors are welcome but can't order alcohol. Hope to see some 8's show up cuz I haven't seen many 8's around here so I kinda need some happiness in my life.

I took the competition course, because I was going to start road racing. You would need to go to the Skip Barber web site to figure out which would be the best for you. They didn't have as many options at that time, but this is exactly what I wanted.
The car that they used at that time for training was a Formula Ford on street tires. I believe they use other cars now, BMW's or possibly Mazda's. They also may use a Formula Barber Dodge from their racing series.

It's not far. They hold training sessions at Road America starting in May.
If you are looking to do Lapping Days or HPDE's at tracks, I would say take the MX-5 Cup Racing School. The Formula Barber cars would make an interesting option. You don't know how well a car can handle until you drive a well setup formula car.
