Haven't actually been there, so can't say about the atmosphere, but as al said, everywhere in IL is smoke free now.
As it stands right now, I am going to reserve a court for an hour, but I will have to do it within a week of march 8th. Hopefully the courts won't be taken. I have two friends that will be joining but then we are still short a person or two depending on if devildog comes down or not.

WHIRLY BALL UPDATE
I called Whirly Ball again today to recheck availability. Since we haven't been able to reserve sooner we were stuck with only a one hour slot open from 5 to 6 pm. This means we will be meeting at 4:30 pm instead of 2.
For those of you who prepaid, if this time doesn't work for you let me know and I will get the money back to you.
Since we are stuck with only one hour, the people that have prepaid (listed below) will definitely be playing.
THERE IS NO MORE PREPAYMENT BEING ACCEPTED
Afterwards we may cruise to a place to eat if there are enough people up for it but that will be decided the day of. I'd still like to get as many people as we can out there. If you plan on attending but not playing, add your name to the list below. If you plan on playing and want to prepay (if there aren't ten people yet) pm me.

Woohoo for Whirlyball! Everyone I've talked to about it has said it is just a huge ton of fun. I will change the first post to indicate the change in timing.

As of right now there is no more prepayment being accepted. Two people pm'd me this weekend for the last spot, so right now it is going to them if they are willing to split it.
We still want to get as many people as we can out there! Even if you aren't playing it will still be a lot of fun!

also RSD a few people have been asking me if the mini meets can be moved to Fridays. i have no problem doing them on that day the only change i will make is that we will still meet at the stadium but go some where else to eat due to the stadium is getting gay with letting minors in cause they got busted for severing them a wile back lol. we have been bouncing between a few places but normaly we take a group vote then head there. also we can start adding a cruse in with the mini meets.

well no one really comes to the mini meets anymore since i stopped posting about them all the time, cause people were complaining i was posting to much. so unless some one else wants to take it over im not going to be running the mini meets any more.
