I went there for the first time last week and MG the business lunch combo is the best value! I was looking forward to the gyro meat being the best tasting, but i was blown away when i ate the other meats. Waaay too much food for a $5 lunch.

I started this up last year!

https://www.rx8club.com/showpost.php...postcount=2943

There were about 4-5 people interested then, but we never got a decent date for all of us and I was trying to plan paintball at the same time.

So basically, yes, I'm in as long as I have the money closer to the date...

Memorial Day Parade help needed!

Is there someone who would like to work up something for me to print out on magnetic sheets to put on the side of the car? Nothing fancy, just simple and professional-looking. I'm not creative or artistic at all, so I'd rather have someone with a little bit of talent put the stuff together.

I was thinking we would need three signs. One with the new logo, one with "Rotary Engine Car Club", and one with the website address (freewebs.com/evolvchicago). We could print out two of each to put on the outside of the three lead cars (assuming they make us run two abreast - if we run single file we put them on both sides of the lead cars).

I'm thinking they would be printed off on something like this:

http://www.officemax.com/omax/catalo...hString=magnet

Figure it will look a little more professional than just writing our name on a poster board and tying it on the side of the car. We could also reuse them for future events.

You can send it to me in a word document, jpeg, etc and I can print them out on my home printer. I do have a photo printer, so the quality should be decent.

Thanks in advance!

So....I need another key for my 8 - it's an '05 with the switchblade remote keys. I don't necessarily need another switchblade though that would be nice. Does anyone have suggestions on how to get another key without getting killed by a stock dealer price? Also, I actually don't know what kind of programming goes into the 8 keys - are the valet keys programmed also (so it won't start unless the key has been programmed by the dealer)? Thanks in advance for any input on key related stuff.

On June 7th there will be a dyno day/cook out at Performance Autowerks in Plainfield. The dyno day is set to begin at 9am and conclude at 6pm with the cookout around 12pm.

There is also a Lakeshore meet scheduled for that evening but no details have been posted. Is this still going on? Charles R. Hill and MazdaManiac will be in town that weekend and I would like to bring them to this meet but I would like to see some more details. Can someone finish setting this meet up and provide details? I would do it but I don't live in Chicago and I already have enough on my plate for that weekend.

We worked a long time on our summer schedule and I haven't heard of any change. A long with the meet, I plan to have a cruise up & down LSD and everybodys favorite Lower Wacker Dr.

Sounds good Al. I figured it was still on but I am sure people will want to take a shower and stuff between the dyno and the meet. Where does everybody plan to meet at on Lakeshore?

Q. If you're going to make a parachute jump, at least how high should you be?

I'm in, I hope. Depends on if I can get there on a full tank of gas or not but in all honesty I'm planning on being there unless something crazy comes up.
