I received an email that rx8club.com misses me 
I used to come here from time to time; my sis used to have an RX8, but she had to sell it because she totalled her van, and the 8 does not make a very good all year car in rural Wisconsin. So she traded it in on a CX9. Very nice ute.
But we both miss the 8 terribly. I never driven a car that begs more to be pushed to the edge like the 8 (and I drive a CTS-V)
oh well, you guys are lucky.

That says a lot for the 8 that you liked driving the 8 better than the CTS-V. Those are supposed to be really good cars. I'm guessing the lighter weight and Mazda suspension tuning (and the rotary, of course), is the difference.

There has been interest in getting an updated YOU'VE BEEN SPOTTED flyer up for those who see another rotary and want to invite them to join the fun.
I updated our old one and am attaching a pdf file of it here (hopefully). Please feel free to print out and put on cars as you see them to tell them about EVOLV-Chicago.

Yea, I wish I had been there for the cruise! I was in NC staring at the Biltmore and "tasting" wine. You'd think after the 8th "taste" they would have figured out that there was no "tasting" going on but just flat out drinking

Memorial Day Parade Update
EVOLV-Chicago MEMORIAL DAY PARADE
Monday, May 26 | Meet Up Time: 9:30 - 10am | Parade Start Time: Noon
EVOLV-Chicago are entrants in the Aurora Memorial Day Parade!!!
We will be meeting early to gather all entrants/riders and guests. All spots are currently filled, but alternates are being accepted in case of last minute scheduling changes.
Meet Up Location: Fox Valley Mall McDonald's
4440 Fox Valley Center Drive
Meet Up Time: 9:30 (we will be leaving at 10:15 sharp!)
Park in the Sears parking lot across the street
The parade route can be found here

A few of use are going to be at the Autobahn country club on May 31 for a track day. $250 for 2 hrs. of track time. i just got an HPDE email from the Autobarn of Evanston. For me and the noobs, will attending this event void our warranty? It goes down Saturday 5/31 and Sunday 6/1 at Autobahn Country Club in Joliet.
